2 SUB ASSEMBLY: 1. Confirm receipt of all components and hardware. 2. Read all instructions before installing any Havis-Shields Equipment Corp products. INSTALLATION: 1. Drill/Cut Holes into Ceiling of Kwik Kit: (see photo 1 & 2 on following page) Location of camera to be determine by installer/customer depending on specific application RECOMMENDED CAMERA LOCATIONS: (See following photos) RECOMMENDED CAMERA LOCATIONS Driver Side Compartment of Kwik Kit Photo 1 ½ Powered Drill w/ 4 ½ Hole Saw Photo 2 Divider Wall Front Bulkhead Forward section of ceiling. Close to divider for bench visibility. 3 rd Compartment-Mount camera on forward side close to side-door frame.. CAUTION: Do not drill into overlap on ceiling sections. Beware of wiring, power-vents, etc. Take caution when drilling 4 ½ hole to not hit roof of vehicle. Drill one 3/16 pilot hole on this measurement in one of the compartments. Using a hole saw drill 4 ½ hole at this location. Check for fit of Camera assembly then proceed with cutting holes for remaining cameras. 2. Route Camera Cables: Route 25 (foot) lengths of camera cable to each of the holes previously drilled. Tie camera cables so they don t rattle on ceiling of Kwik Kit. Cables will eventually connect to camera after camera is assembled to bracket. 3. Assemble Camera(s) to Camera Bracket(s): (see photo 3) Separate Camera from nut and spacer. Slide camera into hole of metal bracket. 2

3 Re-attach spacer and nut and completely tighten being sure red arrow on back of camera is pointing up. Mount camera to clear lexan cover using (2) #10 x ½ Flat head machine screws and # 10 keps nuts. Sub assembly of Camera bracket to ¼ Lexan cover Photo 3 (2) x ½ Flat Head Screws 4. Wire Voyager system: Wire system according to manufacture recommendations included within video system component boxes and the wire diagram supplied in this instruction. Mounting location of Control and Junction box is to be determined by the installer/customer but recommended on the belly pan inside the Consolidator Console. Mounting location of the Monitor, and Remote is to be determined by installer/customer but recommended on the Consolidator Console using #10 x ½ machine screws and keps nuts. 4 5. Mount Camera assembly to Kwik Kit Ceiling: (See photo 6) Plug camera cable into one of the camera assemblies. Turn on system. Position camera to obtain optimal visibility within the compartment. You will need two people for this step. Mark mounting holes on ceiling. Pre-drill holes with 1/8 pilot. Reposition camera assembly and mount using #10 x ½ Flat head sheet metal screws. 5 6. PT-VIDEO-4 Components: Mount external camera in desired location. If being used for viewing when backing up install camera on backside of roof as close to center as possible. (See photo 7) PT-VIDEO-4 External Camera Photo7 7. PT-VIDEO-MDVR (Optional): See wiring diagram and instruction manual ( provided with MDVR ) for complete details. Mount Digital recorder control head into the supplied equipment bracket # C-EB25-MMT-1P. This will allow mounting of console into desired location of HSEC console. 5
