2 CMP Volume Control With software release 1.0.3, input and output volume levels for Custom Music Programming (CMP, or background music) have been introduced, enabling Operators to adjust these levels to the desired settings via the Sound menu. 3 New Boot Screen When Virtuo starts up and loads OpenStage 1.0.3, a new and attractive splash screen with the Virtuo logo and a progress bar is displayed onscreen. Virtuo splash screen 3 of 12

4 Additional Language Support OpenStage provides full User Interface support in English, Spanish or French. To configure language options, select a default language from the Software > Languages menu, then reboot Virtuo. When Virtuo restarts, the selected default is used on the user interface. Patrons can also switch the UI to English, Spanish or French during their session. The UI always resets to the default language when a new session begins. 5 Local Favorites Formerly Staff Picks, this button has been renamed to more accurately describe the 1-credit local content. The default view and sort order of Local Favorites is by Artists, alphabetically. Operators can change the default View and Sorting for Local Favorites from the Operator Menu on the Music > Options screen. Local Favorites Default View controls on Music>Options screen 5 of 12

6 mytouchtunes Drawer Opening and closing the mytouchtunes drawer is now easier and more intuitive. In addition to including a CLOSE button with a larger touch-sensitive area, release enables logged-in mytouchtunes users to close the drawer by touching any area on the screen outside the drawer. mytouchtunes drawer 6 of 12

7 New mytouchtunes Banners Release features two new rotating mytouchtunes banners on the User Interface designed to attract new Mobile App users. Rotating banner #1 Rotating banner #2 mytouchtunes banners and billboard When users touch either of the banners, they are directed to a billboard that provides information about the new mytouchtunes Mobile App. The mytouchtunes billboard also contains a QR code. Patrons can scan the square-shaped bar code with their smartphones, automatically generating a link to download the mytouchtunes Mobile App for their device. Tip: Virtuo ships with a free Marketing kit which includes promotional coasters and table tents that can be left at locations. These kits, in conjunction with the new billboards and video attract loops, are designed to boost patron s awareness of the mytouchtunes Mobile app and enhance Operator revenues. 7 of 12

8 New Attract Video Loops OpenStage leverages Virtuo s HD video capabilities to attract users with new, high-definition promotional video loops when the SmartJuke is in Attract mode. Sample images from Attract Video Loops 8 of 12

9 On-Line Help OpenStage release boasts a context-sensitive on-line help system to assist new patrons in navigating Virtuo s user interface. By touching the HELP button ( ) on the user interface, users can view a screen that displays help bubbles with explanations of the features on the user interface. Help bubbles Users can exit the help screen at any time by touching anywhere on the display. 9 of 12

10 DSP Default Value Virtuo is equipped with DSP technology for improved audio quality, equalization, and noise reduction. With release 1.0.3, the DSP EQ feature individually controllable for all 3 audio zones is, by default, turned off. Note: The DSP default value is applicable to new software installations only not software updates. That is, when an update is sent to a Virtuo, the current DSP setting is not overridden. To enable DSP EQ: 1. From the main Operator interface, select the Sound menu, and then select Zone Out for the desired audio zone. 2. In the JCB DSP EQ area, select ON. Important: If one of your audio zones is connected to an external sound system with hardware equalization, double equalizing your audio signal using DSP may yield unsatisfactory results. If your external sound package is the TouchTunes PerforMax Quad sound system which is equipped with an external EQ the EQ should be removed for best results. 10 of 12

11 Terms of Use Portal OpenStage introduces a redesigned Terms of Use portal a tabbed interface providing legal and licensing terms, privacy policy, and information on TouchTunes and its music partners.
