The ThinkPad 200 GB FDE 7200 rpm Serial ATA Hard Drive is a hardware-based, full-disk encryption (FDE) hard drive that, coupled with the hard drive password, offers an advanced data protection solution to ThinkPad users. The FDE helps to protect personal and company data stored on this hard drive from unauthorized access in the event a hard drive or system is stolen, retired, or sold.
