3 Prezi 3 What will I need to do to get started? 1. Computer with an internet connection

4 Prezi 4 Getting Started with Prezi Creating a free account 1. First go to 2. Click on Sign up now to create an account.

5 Prezi 5 3. Now you need to decide what kind of account you would like. The options are Public, which is free, Enjoy, which is $59/year, and Pro, which is $159/year. To get the free public service, click on Get in the Public column.

6 Prezi 6 4. You will now see a Registration page. This is where you need to fill out your name, , a password and spam protection textbox. 5. Be sure to click on I understand that all my prezis will be published on prezi.com/explore and I agree to the Terms of Use. Now click Register and Continue.

7 Prezi 7 6. A pop-up screen will now give you the options to Learn Prezi Now or Get Inspired Feel free to look into those later, but for now click on Start using Prezi now

8 Prezi 8 Creating a Prezi Presentation 1. You are now ready to create your first presentation using Prezi. Click on the New prezi button on the top left corner of your screen. 2. Give your prezi a title and description if wanted in the pop-up window, then click New prezi 3. You will then be brought to the prezi editing page where you can create and edit your prezis. A tutorial will pop-up that you can either watch or skip. 4. By clicking the X, you can start creating your presentation.

9 Prezi 9 5. There are a few things you will notice on the page 6. If you click anywhere on the page it will give you a cursor, and you can start typing your thoughts/ideas. Once you start typing, you will see a text box appear around the text. 7. At the top of the textbox you will see the standard icons for right justified text, centered, or left justified. To the right of those options you have the ability to bullet your points. 8. You will also see three options below you text. By clicking on the different Title s or Body options, it will give you different font types and colors according to your Prezi color format 9. You will also see arrows to the right of your text allowing you to shorten or lengthen your text box

10 Prezi Once you are done with that text box click OK or anywhere else on the page to get out of the text box. 11. To move, edit, enlarge, or flip your text, click on the text and you will be presented with what they call a zebra 12. To move your text, click on the hand in the center of the zebra and drag text to where you want it 13. To make you text bigger or smaller, click on the + or in the circle surrounding the hand OR click in the circle surrounding the hand (not on the plus or minus) and drag to the size you would like 14. To rotate your text, click on the dashed, outer circle of the zebra, and rotate.

11 Prezi To edit your text, click on the pencil symbol in the outer circle of your zebra 16. The next big feature you will see on your screen is in the top left hand corner. a. Write allows you to write throughout your prezi b. Colors & Fonts lets you choose a theme for your prezi or create your own theme by clicking on the theme wizard c. Insert lets you insert shapes, images, YouTube videos, or files d. Frame gives you different options to frame your text

12 Prezi 12 e. Path Once you are done with all of the content in your presentation you can choose the path, or what the order of your presentation is. Clicking on the 1-2 Add button lets you click on individual parts in your Prezi and gives an order to what is shown during your presentation. 17. To show your presentation once it is completed, click on Show in the upper left hand corner. Then click Full Screen to view your presentation in full screen format. There will then be two arrows in the bottom right hand corner to advance through the presentation.
