The programs being withdrawn are multi-product bundles. With one exception, entitlements to the bundles will be replaced by entitlements to individual products that were included in the bundles or that otherwise provide identical functional capabilities. The new license, trade-up, and reinstatement s for these offerings will be withdrawn April 12,. s will be withdrawn May 13,. End of Service for the bundle offerings will occur at a later. At that time, owners of the bundles will become entitled to the individual products that comprised those bundles and will inherit the service lifecycles of those individual products. Rational (R) Professional Bundle At the time of, entitlements to the bundle will be migrated to each of the following offerings (with the same charge metric, either " User" or "Floating User Single Install"). Rational (R) Rational Architect Design Manager Rational Functional Tester Rational Performance Tester Rational Service Tester for SOA Quality At the time of, entitlements to the bundle will be migrated to the following replacement entitlements., at the rate of 1 PVU per 1 PVU of the bundle Rational, at the rate of 1 User per 50 PVUs of the bundle For some owners of the bundle, the 1 AU per 50 PVU formula for Rational (RAD) entitlements may include more user licenses than are needed. The purpose of this bundle was to offer Client Support to users of older version levels of those free restricted-use offerings. With the of this bundle, the following options will allow you can maintain coverage of Client Support for your development tools and test servers. Use (WAS) at version level 8.5, or later, as your production runtime. The terms of the WAS License Agreements at version levels 8.5 and above provide for the following: You may deploy unlimited s of WAS (8.5 or later) instances for use as developers' local test environments. This usage will be on a fully supported basis and will not count as utilization against your production PVU licenses as long as S&S is up to. Similarly, the freely downloadable Developer Tools for Eclipse is treated as an -supported offering for clients who own WAS production licenses and use version level 8.5, or later as long as S&S is up to. If you must use older WAS versions (whose License Agreements do not make those provisions), you can purchase Rational Developer for instead of using Developer Tools for Eclipse. This is a much more extensive set of fully supported development tools, and includes fully functional local test servers as fully supported s of the product. Otherwise, you can use the combination of for Developers (at pre-8.5 version levels) and Developer Tools for Eclipse, on an unsupported basis on the s shown, will withdraw from marketing s from the following programs licensed under the International Program License Agreement.
