2 What is Re-Marketing When it comes to sales you cannot expect any prospect or inquiry to convert into sales in the first meeting or first contact. We have to followup many times so that we can convert those inquiries into customers and get sales done. In the same manner You Posted Ad on Facebook User Clicked on Ad and visited your Landing Page or Website. Then User might contact you or fill the opt-in form on your website, etc (Action) But in most cases they will not buy in the first contact point. If he had given you contact numbers or address, you can have followups. But what if they leave your website without taking any action?

3 Solution : Hence in such case we will TRACK the users who visited our website using Facebook Pixel Code and we will run another Advertisement (ReMarketing) to those AUDIENCES who visited our website. These are called Custom Audiences in Facebook.

4 Step - 1 Go to Ad Manager Audiences on the Left Panel

5 Step - 2 Create a Custom Audience Select Website Traffic Accept Agreement Create Web Marketing Pixel You will see the code

6 Step - 3 Copy the Remarketing Pixel Code to your Website s Head File or on each and every pages for which you want to track users for remarketing. Ask your Website Designer to put this code on your website. Put it anywhere before </head>

7 Step - 4 After you add the code to your website > Verify the Pixel Code Go to your Website and Press CTRL + U If you don t have a website then go to And on the home page press CTRL + U You will find the Remarketing Pixel Code Check the next slide for Screen Shot

9 In the Next Section we will cover how to create Custom Audiences who visited your Website.

10 Custom Audience Types 1. Customer List ( Addresses, Phone Numbers) 2. Website Traffic (People who visited Website or a Particular Page) Track the Website Visitors who visited in the last 180 days. You can Include Audiences or Excluded Audiences based on their activities. E.g. Many people visited magnetmarketing.in website but some of them might have not visited the DEMO Video page which is very much important for me. So I can create a rule Create a Custom Audiences who visited any page BUT not visited a specific page i.e. Demo Video Page in my case. 3. App Activity (Specific Action on App E.g. Fipkart App Product Visit)

11 Example 1 I want to show Ads to those persons who Visited Course Fees Page on my website because they are mature users and they might buy first. Audiences Tab > Create Custom Audiences > Website Traffic Website Traffic Type > People who visited specific web pages URL Equals If you want to track single page. E.g. MagnetMarketing.in/Training_Course_Fees See the Screenshot in the Next Slide

13 After you created a Custom Audience, it will take few minutes to update. Refresh the Page after few moments. You will see the Size of the Audience.

14 Now we will Create Ad for Custom Audience (For Remarketing or Followoup) We had already learned in the previous module about Creating Ads. Just to Ad Manager > Create Ad > Select Objective In My case I will select > Clicks to Website > And destination URL will be Course Fees so that I can remind them to buy the course Now Select Custom Audience we just created in Targeting Group See Screenshot in Next Slide

16 Create Ad (Continued..) Then other procedures are same like selecting images, bidding, duration, headline, ad text and contents, etc. (We had already covered in the beginning of this module) Create an Ad. Here you have to keep your Budget as Life Time Budget instead of daily budget because your Audience might be too small. And also keep the budget only to the extent so that you can reach your custom audience numbers. Your Re-Marketing is good to Go.
