ACU Online Banking Feature Guide ACU Online Banking Release ACU will release enhancements to the new consumer online banking Home Page and new Account History Page. Release Highlights The release features both performance and user experience improvements to the Home Page and Account History Page. Enhancements include: Locate transactions more quickly with contextual filter capabilities on the Account History Page Export transactions directly from the Account History Page without having to go to a separate page or location Find your fully formatted ACH number now in the account details section of the Account History Page so you can more easily set-up direct deposit and transfer funds See the loan payoff amount directly within the transfers experience View your CD maturity date at a glance from the Home Page, now display ed within the accounts section Improved visuals help end users more easily interact with image drawers on the Account History Page and get on with their tasks Performance enhancements to improve page load and response times 1
Feature Overview Contextual Transaction Filtering on the New Account History Page For this release there will be new filtering tools that help users to quickly and easily find transactions on the New Account History Page. This feature allows users to filter their transactions by entering keywords into a text box. The filter narrows as you type and accepts numbers, letters, or a combination of the two (e.g., Target, 25.00, #1234, etc.). The system will return all of the results that match the key word(s) for the selected date range in the transactions list located just below the filter field. The system filters on the values in the Description, Deposit and Withdrawal columns and displays any matching values. If no results were returned, the system will prompt the user to Try last 90 days. Selecting this link resets the date range to last 90 days. Otherwise, the user can click the Clear link to remove the current filter values and start over. 3
Export Transactions directly from the Account History Page For this release users will be able to export transactions from the Account History Page (except for pending and future dated transactions). We are starting with two basic export options: Comma Separated Value (.csv) and OFX (.ofx) formats. CSV can be used with Excel or similar software while OFX (.ofx) is used by some third party software for importing transaction data. Both types are available for all accounts and will extract all transactions within the selected date range. In an upcoming release, we will provide Web Connect export formats for Quicken (QFX) and QuickBooks (QBO) directly on the Account History Page. If no transactions are available for an account for the selected date range, the Export button will be grayed out (disabled) and cannot be selected. NOTE: This feature can be used in combination with the Filter capability described above to export a filtered list of transactions (like checks or transfers) so they can export exactly what they need for the date range they want. For Web Connect export, users can go to the old account history page. If you have Web Connect, users can still download their files for Quicken (QFX) and QuickBooks (QBO) by clicking on the View the old history page link which is located at both the bottom and top of the Account History Page. Bottom of the Account History Page NOTE: In our next quarterly release, we will remove these access points to the legacy account history page. Today, we are seeing less than 3% of users navigating to the legacy account history page using these access points (and expect it to continue to decline). So, in the next release when we have recreated the Web Connect functionality, we will remove these links to simplify the experience. 4
ACH number added to Account Details section of History Page With this enhancement, we are making it easier for online banking users to find their fully formatted ACH number within the online banking experience. When a physical check is not handy, this enhancement allows users to easily find their formatted ACH account number online without having to contact your call center. Securely hidden behind the account details drawer on the Account History Page, this enhancement allows end users to see their fully formatted ACH account number so that they can more easily move money (e.g., set-up direct deposit, direct debit, wires, etc.). By default, this number is hidden when a user navigates to the Account History Page and requires the user to click on See account details in order to display this number. Note this value displays below the account number and applies only to checking and savings accounts, if available. 5
See Loan Payoff Amount within the Transfers Experience A steady request from end users has been the ability to see the loan payoff amount when making a payment using the Move money overlay. For this release users will be able to see the loan payoff amount displayed in the dropdown list if the information is available from your host, as shown below. The loan payoff amount, if available from your host, will also display next to the amount entry field on the transfers screen when a loan account is selected. 6
View CD Maturity Date at a glance on the Home Page For this release users will be able to see the Maturity Date of their CD at a glance from the Home Page, if the maturity date is available from your host. Displayed within the accounts section, users will no longer need to click thru to the account details page. It is displayed as Matures on MM/DD/YYYY. More easily close check image drawers on the Account History Page We ve heard from end users that closing the check image drawer on the Account History Page isn t as intuitive as it could be so we ve enhanced this feature for this release. The current Close button (see image below) is located at the bottom of the image drawer frame in light gray letters and proved to be difficult for some users (especially the elderly) to locate. So, with this release we added a new Close button that is a round X button positioned in the upper right-hand portion of the image area (next to the Print button) so that users can more easily close the drawer for check and deposit slip images. The existing close button (below the image) will remain so that 7
the user can choose which method that works best for them. Please refer to the illustration below. Removing links for Expired Checks on the Account History Page For expired checks (using your preset value or the default of 120 days), the check number will no longer display as an active link but instead it will be a solid number, as shown below. If you have already set a value for check image expiration, this change will not affect you. 8
Enhancement gives Transfers Error Messages a friendlier tone This enhancement focuses on making the transfer error messages friendlier and more accurate. Based on feedback from members, we are modifying the language from a generic please contact customer service to a friendlier please contact us. Below is an example of how one of the transfer error messages has been enhanced: Previous error message: We were unable to complete your transfer. Please contact customer service. Enhanced error message: We were unable to complete your transfer. If this issue persists, please contact us. 9
Purchase Rewards Container & Logo Enhancement on History Page For this release, certain users will be able to see merchant logos in the Purchase Rewards widget on the Account History page (identical to Home Page widget design B). This alternate design will be presented to users with 4 or more total (new + activated) offers. Users that don't meet these criteria will see the current design with no changes. With the alternate design on the Account History Page, up to 3 merchant logos are displayed plus an icon that shows how many additional offers are available. Clicking on a merchant logo, the offer icon, or the View your offers link takes the user to the Purchase Rewards Summary page. In addition, the Purchase Rewards container will match the Account Details widget (container level 6) and Other Services widget, if it is available.
