3 Manage Users The Manage Users section allows an Administrative User to setup, change, copy, and delete a company user and modify the services a user is entitled to. To do so, select Manage users from the Company Administration section of the Administration tab in Business ebanking. 3
4 Create New User To create a new user, click on the Create new user button. The New User Profile page will appear. Complete the following fields, then press Continue. User ID Enter the ID that the user will use to sign on to Business ebanking Password Enter a starter password Confirm Password Enter the same starter password again First Name Enter the user s first name Last Name Enter the user s last name Primary Enter the address of the user User Telephone Number Enter the telephone number of the user 4
5 The New User Roles page will appear. Check the boxes next to the User Roles you want to assign to the new user, then press Continue. Refer to Appendix A for User Role definitions. The New User Services & Accounts page will appear. Select the Add button next to the services you want to entitle for the user. Some services require you to select which accounts you want the user to be entitled to and allow them to transmit from. Then click Save changes. A green check mark will appear to the left of the service title once the service has been entitled. When you have finished entitling services and accounts for the new user, press Continue. Note: The Services & Accounts section will only display services your company is entitled for. Refer to Appendix B for Services & Accounts definitions. Note: Deposit Reports and Information Reporting must be turned on for users to view accounts within Business ebanking. 5
6 The New User Limits page will be displayed depending on whether or not the new user has been entitled to a service that requires limits (ACH Origination, Wire Transfers, etc.). Enter a user daily limit and additional limits for each service and account, if needed. You may select No Limit for the user but the user will not be allowed to exceed the company limit. When you have finished setting up limits, press Continue. The New User Verification page will appear. Review the information on the page, then click Submit. 6
7 Note: For companies that do not require multiple approvals for Administration, clicking Submit creates and activates the user. For companies that require multiple approvals for Administration, clicking Continue submits the user profile for approval by other Administrators in the company. The New User Confirmation page will appear. 7
8 Manage Existing Users To manage an existing user, click on the user s User ID. Click on the corresponding links to edit the user s information, contact information, roles, services & accounts or limits. Press Save changes each time you make a change to the user s profile. Underneath the Edit User Information section you may edit the user s password, first name, last name, and additional information. You may also unlock a user if they have been locked out of Business ebanking. Click Save changes. Note: Business ebanking User IDs cannot be changed. 8
9 Underneath the Edit Contact Information section you may edit the user s address(es) and telephone number(s). Click Save changes. Underneath the Edit Roles section you may edit the user s existing roles. Click Save changes. Refer to Appendix A for User Role definitions. Underneath the Edit Services & Accounts section you may add, change or remove the services and accounts that are entitled for the user. Select the Add button next to the services you want to enable for the user. Some services require you to select which accounts you want the user to be entitled to and allow them to transmit from. A green check mark will appear to the left of the service if it has been entitled to the user. Select the Change button to change the accounts that the user is entitled to for a service. Select the Remove button to remove the service from the user. Click Save changes. Note: The Services & Accounts section will only display services your company is entitled for. 9
10 Refer to Appendix B for Services & Accounts definitions. Note: Deposit Reports and Information Reporting must be turned on for users to view accounts within Business ebanking. Underneath the Edit limits section you may edit the user s limits for each of the services they ve been entitled to. Click Save changes. 10
11 Manage Saved Users To manage a saved user, select the user s User ID. To complete the setup process follow the Create a new user steps beginning on page 4. Edit the user s contact information, roles, services & accounts and limits, then press Submit. Once you have submitted the saved user, your user will be created and activated or sent to the approval queue for review and approval. Note: Saved users listed have not been fully set up. Lock/Unlock Users To lock or unlock a user, select the System access link for the user you would like to change. Click the User locked checkbox, then press Save changes. 11
12 Reset Passwords To reset a user's password, select the System access link for the user you would like to change. Enter a new password in the password and confirm password fields, then press Save changes. Delete a User To delete a user, click on the user s User ID. Click on the Delete user link. The User Administration Delete User page will appear. Click Delete user. A User Deleted Successfully message will appear and the user will be removed from the existing users section. 12

Click on these links for step-by-step instructions, definitions, and frequently asked questions to assist you with managing your users. Business ebanking Tutorial Videos Allegiance Bank has a YouTube channel with several short Business ebanking tutorial videos which provide step-by-step instructions for your Business ebanking essentials. To access these videos go to and enter Allegiance Bank in the search menu. Select the link with the red and blue star titled Allegiance Bank. For additional assistance with managing your users, watch the tutorial video titled Business ebanking: Managing Users. 14 APPENDIX A User Roles Allow this user to setup templates This entitles the user to template setup capabilities for only those services and accounts to which the user has been entitled. This role needs to be enabled for anyone who will set up an Internal Transfer, External Transfer, Loan Payment, Bill Payment, ACH Transactions, Wire Transfers and create Positive Pay issue items. Allow this user to approve transactions This entitles the user to transmit capabilities for only those services to which the user has been entitled. This role needs to be enabled for anyone who will approve/transmit an Internal Transfer, External Transfer, Loan Payment, Bill Payment, ACH Transactions, Wire Transfers and Positive Pay exception decisions. Grant this user administration privileges This will allow the user to add, copy and delete users, modify their roles, services and account access, rename accounts, and modify the number of approvers required for requests. 14
15 APPENDIX B Services & Accounts ACH Positive Pay entitles user to ACH Positive Pay service Bill Pay entitles user to make bill payments to individuals (via check) or businesses (via check or ACH if applicable) using Bill Pay CCD Collection entitles user to collect money via ACH from corporate accounts CCD Payment entitles user to pay money via ACH to corporate accounts Deposit Reports entitles user to view deposit account reports Direct Connect entitles user to download transaction activity for Quicken and QuickBooks estatements entitles user to specified statements online through Business ebanking File Download entitles user to ACH reporting files including ACH Returns, Notification of Changes (NOC) and EDI reports Incoming Wire Report entitles user to view incoming wire activity Information Reporting specifies which accounts are enabled for the Deposit Reports Service Internal Transfer entitles user to transfer funds from one entitled account to another entitled account Loan specifies which accounts are enabled for user to view loan information including balance and transaction history Loan Payment entitles user to make loan payments and view loan reports Mobile Banking entitles user to download the Allegiance Bank Business app Mobile RDC entitles user to deposit checks into an account using the Allegiance Bank Business app Multiple Account Transfer entitles user to transfer funds from one entitled account to multiple entitled accounts Positive Pay entitles user to Check Positive Pay service Positive Pay Exception Maintenance entitles user to maintenance Positive Pay exceptions Positive Pay Issue Maintenance entitles user to maintenance issued checks in Positive Pay PPD Collection entitles the user to collect funds via ACH from personal accounts PPD Payment entitles the user to pay money via ACH to personal accounts Stop Payment entitles user to stop a payment on a single check or range of consecutively numbered checks Wire Domestic One Time specifies which accounts are enabled for users for the One Time Domestic Wire service Wire Domestic Template Based specifies which accounts are enabled for users for the Template Based Domestic Wire service Wire USD Intl One Time specifies which accounts are enabled for users for the One Time International Wire service Wire USD Intl Template Based specifies which accounts are enabled for users for the Template Based International Wire service 15
