1 Process: Business Objects (BOBJ) Web Intelligence is used to display reports. Reports can contain data from databases, such as Business Warehouse, GRADS, HANA, PBF (Public Budget Formulation) etc. Reports can contain data tables, graphs, charts, and sub-reports. The following steps will show you the basics of displaying a report. Note: For details on other Business Object report processes, check out other BOBJ (Business Objects) QRCs or course manuals on the myhelp web site. Role: Authorized Users Frequency: When needed Log into Business Objects From the UK homepage, select myuk Select MyReports on the upper menu bar Select MyReports on the lower menu bar Selecting a Report Documents are located in Public Folders: Select Folders Select Public Folder Contains all reports to which you have access To search for a document in the public folders, click on the Expand/Collapse icon to the left of Public Folders myhelp Website: 1

2 Select a folder Search by a partial title, keyword, description, etc. of the report by entering the text in the Search box and press Enter OR Use the scroll bar to search through the lists of reports Double-click on the report you want to view Note: The report will be displayed on the right side of the screen, and the Side panel will be to the left of the report. myhelp Website: 2

3 Report Features Navigation Map Navigation Map provides a quick way to move around in the report between the various sub-reports, such as Summary(By Dept,FCC) and Summary Chart in this example Note: Reports may contain two or more sub-reports consisting of tables, graphs, charts, etc. To navigate between sub-reports, click on the report name in the Navigation Map OR Click on the report name on the Navigation Tab myhelp Website: 3

4 Changing Variable Values (User Prompt Input) User Prompt Input allows you to change or add filter values. The window displays the values already selected for the report and identifies the fields that require completion. Click Refresh to display the report filters and values (Prompts) myhelp Website: 4

5 To change the value on a variable, 1. Select the variable 2. Select Refresh Values 3. Select the value you want 4. Transfer it to the right Click OK to continue A system message will display New refresh date will display in the lower right corner of the status bar myhelp Website: 5

6 Document Summary To display a summary of the report, click Document Summary Information includes: Document name Author Last modified by Description Creation date Last refresh date Document properties A list of the prompts and values used Available Objects - Design Mode Only To display the objects available for reporting, click Available Objects Note: The objects displayed can be added to the report by dragging the object to the report and dropping it. myhelp Website: 6
