1 THAT FEELING That poster that reminds you of a special place. That t-shirt that reminds you of a special person. We all identify with brands that deliver that feeling. We buy brands that give us that feeling. This is my passion. Helping brands connect with their audiences through enriched user experience and creative problem solving. 2 My name is Miquel Parera. During the last 7 years I ve been working as a Graphic Designer for big and small companies and for three years training people to improve their graphic design skills at Espai, Informatics School in Barcelona. OPEN RESUME A few notable people who have influenced me within business, design and user experience are professionals such as Alan Cooper, Dan Saffer and Mike Monteiro, amongst many others. Through working with my fellow professionals, as well as many clients, I soon realized the importance of User Centered Design perspective and people's behaviour. I take my work seriously and I value my clients, so I decided to run my own business as a designer and consultant, finding out the best solution to a client s problem. I feel that I want to share my expertise as much as learn by others.

3 EXPERTISE Miquel Parera, with +7 years of expertise, has worked with big and small companies such as Apple, Teka, The Keenfolks Studio and Escola Espai. His career has led him to gather wide knowledge in strategy design, identity, digital design, interaction, UI & UX design. In 2014 Miquel decided to run his own business as a consultant and designer. He has also worked with other artists and video producers as well as motion & 3D designers. He has helped numerous companies and individuals to find a business solution.

13 ELANCO IBD REVISE TRY CHANGE The keenfolks studio created a disruptive message, embedding new and effective people-centric insights. A clear and direct call for action to propose the veterinarian a sequence of actions: Revise the currently used IBD vaccination program, try more efficient solutions, and adopt them by changing into Elanco Vaccination Program.

14 TARGET SEGMENTATION People believe that the decisions they make are rational. In reality, emotions are a great influence, and in many cases determine our decisions. The keenfolks s methodology is designed to understand the balance that must be achieved between the rational and the emotional at each step of the customer purchase process. Traditionally marketers seek demographics and psychographics insights. Here s an additional layer; personality types to tap into their intrinsic motivations.

15 THE KEENFOLKS Wanted the customer to be identified with a selfconfident professional who is willing to evaluate better alternatives and adopt the most efficient vaccination program to protect the poultry flock against one of the most important diseases affecting the industry.

16 THE TREATMENT Revise the currently used IBD vaccination program, try more efficient solutions, and adopt them by changing into our Elanco Vaccination Program. As the primary message, we jumped to our modelshop to start working with new and disruptive ways to bring this message to the poultry market. The outcome are these neons that enable us to create unlimited material for an online and offline strategy.

Business owners decided to change their image and create a significant identity with a strong personality to increase the engagement between the brand and their existing and prospective students. 21 WORDS INTO IMAGES Once I got a clear understanding of what and who I am building for, how and why, the goal is translate the strategy into images to find the design direction. This is one of the stylescapes and moodboards I designed to find out the style, look and feel, colors and typography for the brand.

22 THE LOGO A flag represents a goal achieved. Due to the different areas within the school, we can refer a color for each one and go forward with a powerful message. The concept is to be friendly and dynamic so we animate the logo, and develop a visual communication that engages.
