2 SMART PLANNER Online Training Guides Guide Four Activities In this guide you will learn how to: Create a new activity o Add images and videos o Save an activity o View activities Search for a particular activity o Search by activity name o Search by skill type o Search by skill level o Search by equipment o Search on multiple criteria View activities Print an activity Share activities Delete activities 2011 Smart Moves in Water Limited Page 2 of 13
3 Create a new Activity 1. In the Home Screen, Press on create new Enter a name for your new activity. If you are using progressions (the pre-loaded Activities use progressions) you will want to specific the progression number using the [Activity Name Progression number] e.g. Fishes in the Water P01 naming convention. Select the relevant skill level for the new activity. If the new activity is not a skill building type, you will need to specify the Activity Phase that it is relevant to. If the new activity is a skill building type, select all of the relevant skill types that the Activity helps to build Smart Moves in Water Limited Page 3 of 13
4 Next, select relevant entries from the Drop down lists, select boxes or type in your own entries in the free text fields. Choose option in the drop down click on the arrow and use your mouse to select the appropriate entry Some fields have drop down boxes that you choose from and some fields are free text Or type your own text 2011 Smart Moves in Water Limited Page 4 of 13
5 Adding Images and Video Video and images can be entered Images are browsed and attached. For videos, you will need to specify the image location (you tube, Google video etc.) and enter the URL link into the video box Smart Moves in Water Limited Page 5 of 13
6 Save an Activity Click on save changes at the bottom of page This activity is now saved in the SMART PLANNER (displayed in recent activities or accessed via the browse activities link at the top of the home screen) 2011 Smart Moves in Water Limited Page 6 of 13
7 View Activities Select an activity from the recent activities list, search using the search feature, or use the browse activities link at the top of the home screen. Click on the activity name to view details. This is the how an activity looks once it has been created and opened for viewing Smart Moves in Water Limited Page 7 of 13
8 Search for a particular activity Search Activity by name Activities can be searched for by name. e.g. Heads in the Water can be found by entering the name in the search box in the home screen Smart Moves in Water Limited Page 8 of 13
9 Search Activity by Skill Type You can seach and browse activities that develop a certain skill type. Simply select the skill type from the search box in the home screen. Search activity by Skill Level You can seach and browse activities of a certain skill level. Simply select the skill level from the search box in the home screen Smart Moves in Water Limited Page 9 of 13
10 Search for activity by equipment You can also seach and browse activities that use a certain piece of equipment or teaching tool. Simply select the equipment type from the search box in the home screen. Search for activity by multiple criteria You can combine search criteria to search on multiple factors e.g. skill level 2 and skill type front 2011 Smart Moves in Water Limited Page 10 of 13
11 View Activities Click on browse lessons to view all activities Select which activity you would like to look at or read progression uniqueness as well as land and water development 2011 Smart Moves in Water Limited Page 11 of 13
12 Print Activities All activities can be printed to provide poolside guidance. Open an activity to view its details. Scroll to the very bottom of the page, and select the print activity button. Share Activities You don t have to do anything in order to share activities with your team. Every activity you create (and the pre-loaded SMART PLANNER Select activities) will be able to be accessed by all members of your team Smart Moves in Water Limited Page 12 of 13
13 Delete Activities All activities that you create can be deleted. Open an activity to view its details.
