3 1-1: Log in to Genesis2 PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT: The supported browser for Genesis2 is Internet Explorer 8 Credentials 1. User ID and Password will be required to log in Genesis2. 2. Credentials for the Demo environment will differ to the one for the live environment. 3. User ID 1) User ID can be changed by the administrator by using the User management functions. 2) For the previous GENESIS user, User ID is a combination of the previous Agent ID and PIC Code (ex. Agent ID 4500, PIC Code GMT001, the User ID for Genesis2 will be 4500GMT001 ) 4. Password 1) Password must consist of 8 characters/digits or more. It must also be a combination of capital, small letters and digits. 2) Maximum length of password must not exceed 32 characters/digits 3) Password must not consist of 4 consecutive characters/digits Important Notice If an incorrect password is entered 5 times, Log in will not be possible for 30 minutes - 2 -

5 2-1: Hotels / Ryokans tariff search and reservation My itinerary functions My itinerary is a phrase used in Genesis2 to show PNR. Multiple services such as Hotels/Ryokans, tours, transfers and private arrangements are controlled under one My itinerary. Itinerary and quotations could be downloaded per My itinerary. Step 1: Tariff search Select date Choose between Hotels or Ryokans Select Hotel / Ryokan Grade Select Room Type Select City / Area Keywords Inventory Price Range Meal Conditions Special Discounts Ratings Click search after checking the above dates and details - 4 -

6 Step 2: Search results and selection of the service plan Search box to change search conditions Add to Bookmark Ratings Facility Details & Map Plans details Cancellation Policy Grade, Meal conditions, Room type and size Room Rate Inventory Click SELECT in the plan detail and continue next step (confirm the number of rooms to be booked) - 5 -

12 3-1: Tours tariff search and reservation Step 1: Tariff search Select date Inventory Point of departure Tour type Refine search Click search for Day Tours or Multi-day Tours Packages & Deals Click search for Packages & Deals Keyword / Service Code Click search for Keywords or Service Codes Tour Banners Tour banners for the tours that are recommended will be displayed. By clicking the banners, you can check the detail information of each tour recommended

16 4-1: Airport Transfers STEP 1: Tariff search Choose Transfer Select detail from AIRPORT TRANSFER and click search Transfer Banners Transfer banners for the transfers that are recommended will be displayed. By clicking the banners, you can check the detail information of each transfer recommended

17 STEP 2: Search results and selection of the service plan Select number of services Click ADD TO MY ITINERARY & CONTINUE TO PROCESSING to continue with next procedure Click ADD TO MY ITINERARY & SEARCH MORE to add additional services

22 5-1: Private arranged tours For guests who do not wish to join seat in coach tours, we have a wide variety of selections for privately arranged tours. Step 1: Tariff search Select date Inventory Select Tour for Private arranged tours Select City / Area and number of guests Click to Search Private Arrangements Banners Private arrangements banners for the private arranged tours that are recommended will be displayed. By clicking the banners, you can check the detail information of each tour recommended

26 5-2: Other private services Private arranged service is a service (item) for private tours such as rental car, entrance tickets, rental mobile phones etc. Step 1: Tariff search Select date Inventory Select Services for Private services Select category and number of guests Click to Search

29 STEP 4: Entering of the Guest Information Name of the hotel and address In case the tour has designated pick up hotels, please choose the hotel from the list. Click to continue (Steps 5 and 6 will be the same procedure as the Hotels / Ryokans reservation

30 6-1: Search My Itinerary Search My Itinerary In order to search for your past reservation, it can be done easily just by clicking the Search My Itinerary button. Click Search My Itineraries

31 Search My Itinerary and search result Enter search conditions and click search Search Results Click SELECT to choose PNR (My Itinerary)

32 6-2: Modification of Reservations Before you can start modification, please make sure that you have selected the PNR (My Itinerary) which is needed to be modified. Click MODIFY MY ITINERARY

33 Modification of reservations Click CHANGE Upon clicking the CHANGE button, you will continue to Plan detail screen of the service to be modified. Make the necessary changes (Service plan, service dates, number of rooms or guests etc.) and continue as a normal reservation procedure

34 6-3: Cancellation of Reservations Before you can start cancellation, please make sure that you have selected the PNR (My Itinerary) which is needed to be cancelled. Click MODIFY MY ITINERARY

35 Step1: Select the service to be cancelled 1 1 Click CANCEL 2 Click REVIEW THIS ORDER

36 Step2: Confirm the service to be cancelled Status Cancellation is not confirmed until status is XL Click to confirm cancellation

37 Step3: Cancellation confirmed Status is now cancelled (XL)

38 7-1: User Management User management Users can be managed (Create New User ID or Modify current User ID) just by clicking the User Management link located on the bottom left corner of the Top screen. Step1: Choose whether to create new User ID or to modify the current User ID Modify Current User ID 2 Create New User ID

39 Step2: Enter User information and privileges Basic Information Privileges Basic Information USER ID: User ID to log in Genesis2 USER NAME: User Name that will be displayed in Genesis2 Password: Password to log in Genesis2 Confirm Password: Type the same password again Authorization: Representative or others Valid From / To: Validation of the User ID Page Display Language: Language for displayed items (Japanese and English only) Date Display Language: Language for displayed Data (Japanese, English, Simplified/Traditional Chinese and Korean) Year-Month-day format: Date format (YYYY/MM/DD, MM/DD/YYYYY, DD/MM/YYYYY) Invoice Group: Invoicing group Mail Address: address of the user Send Confirmation: Send confirmation (Yes or No) Privileges Hotel Reservation: Hotel reservation privileges (for reference only, Normal reservation, Request reservation etc.) Tour Reservation: Tour reservation privileges (for reference only, Normal reservation) Transfer Reservation: Transfer reservation privileges (for reference only, Normal reservation) Private Arrangement Reservation: Private arrangement privileges (for reference only, Normal reservation) Display NET Rate: Display of Net rates for Tours, Transfers and Private arrangements

40 8-1: Sales Report Sales Report Sales Report is a function where all the PNR related to the travel agents reservation could be listed. It can also be listed by invoicing group. Click Sales Report located in the left bottom corner of the top page. Step1: Enter the Search conditions Search conditions Service Date From / Service Date to: The maximum duration of the sales Report to be listed is one month. Invoicing Group: Choose invoicing group
