Points accrued are as followed: Correct explanation = 5 points Saving the file correctly = 5 points Uploading the file on time = 5 points (5 pts will be deducted from the total grade if not uploaded on time & 1 letter grade lower of the total grade for every class day received late)
6 STEP 5 Start Date: Mar 1 DUE DATE: May 3 Instructions: SLIDE 4 SLIDE 9 (Daily Events) Create 1 slide for each of at least 5 days of time you volunteered. (You should have 5 slides for 5 of the days you volunteered) Each slide should include the following: 1. Pictures of the current day s events at the organization (how you assisted) 2. An explanation of the events that took place and how you assisted. 3. Save PPT as: Daily Events 4. Upload PPT to OneNote by due date GRADING CRITERIA for STEP 5: All PPT s uploaded by DUE DATE will earn full credit provided all criteria is followed. There must at least 5 slides for 1 day of events each PPT s not uploaded by DUE DATE will result in 1 letter grade lower for each class day received late. Points accrued are as followed: 3 points for each slide = 10 points Saving the file correctly = 5 points Uploading the file on time = 5 points (5 pts will be deducted from the total grade if not uploaded on time & 1 letter grade lower of the total grade for every class day received late)
7 STEP 6 Start Date: May 3 DUE DATE: May 10 Instructions: Essay & Forms Follow the INSTRUCTIONS on the Community Service Project Report to correctly TYPE YOUR ESSAY: TO ACCESS the Community Service Project Report, go to: Click on Students Student Services/Guidance Scroll down. On the bottom right Select, Community Services Project Report Guidelines TYPE your essay using MICROSOFT WORD Make sure to include all items listed on the Community Service Project Report Make sure separate with paragraphs Make sure you SPELL CHECK before printing Save your essay as: ESSAY-LastFirstName Upload ESSAY to OneNote by due date Fill out the Community Service Project Report Scan and upload completed Community Service Project Report (save as: Community Service Project Report) Scan and upload the completed Community Services Activity Log (save as: Community Services Activity Log) Scan and upload the letter from the organization (save as: Organization Letter) Scan and upload the completed 501-c3 form (save as: 501-c3 form) Submit your PRINTED Essay, Community Service Project Report and Activity Log to your teacher GRADING CRITERIA for STEP 6: All the above uploaded by DUE DATE will earn full credit provided all criteria is followed (5 pts each = 15 pts total) Documents not uploaded by DUE DATE (3 docs = 15 pts total) will result in 1 letter grade lower for each class day received late. (late uploads will result in 1 letter grade lower of the total grade for every class day received late)

9 GRADING SCALE: Upon completion of this project, you will earn DOUBLE the community service hours you served within the timeline of this project (February 4 th May 3 rd ) For example: If you served 20 hours within the timeline, you will be issued more 20. (40 hours) A = Twice your hours served Ex: You served 20 hours. You will be issued 40 hours. B = C = D = 2 hours less than your hours served times 2 4 hours less than your hours served times 2 6 hours less than your hours served times 2 Ex: You served 20 hours. You will be issued 36 hours. (20-2=18x2=36) Ex: You served 20 hours. You will be issued 32 hours (20-4=16x2=32) Ex: You served 20 hours.
