2 Sales Portal Overview SalesPortal.Vishay.Com is a Rich Internet Application (RIA) client based on Microsoft s.net Framework. Prerequisites for running the RIA client is having.net framework and a Microsoft component called MSHTML installed. From the below which you launch the application, pay attention to the extra buttons that appear below the Start button. If the.net Framework button appears (not grayed out like below), click it first to install the.net Framework, after that, click on the MSHTML button to install the additional component. You will need local ADMIN right on your client system to perform the installation. After this initial setup you can proceed to launch the application by pressing the Start button. 3 Installations 1.1.Net Framework Installation (Windows 7 and below) If.Net framework is not yet installed on your computer, (.Net Framework 2.0 button can be clicked) install it by clicking the.net Framework 2.0 button If the.net Framework 2.0 button is disabled, double check if the.net Framework installed in your computer is version 3.5 or 2.0. 4 If not, kindly do these steps: a. Go to Control Panel then inside Programs and Features, click Turn Windows Features on or off. b. Make sure that NET Framework 3.5 (includes.net 2.0 and 3.0) is checked/selected: 1.2.Net Framework Installation (Windows 8 and above) The.Net Framework 3.5 would have to be installed from the Installation CD of Windows 8. a. Insert the Windows 8 installation disk. b. Open command line and navigate to C:\Windows\system32 c.
