2 Instruction Manual KIMETER Registration on Acutec Enter the site and perform register at Use a valid address. This register provides the warranty on your product, technical support and customized tool to recover passwords. Important! To install the software from Acutec internet connection and register on the site is required. So you are sure to always have the latest version, more reliable and secure. 2. Installation CD-ROM: Insert the CD-ROM in the CD drive and select Run screen as below: 2

3 Acutec If the CD does not open automatically, go to My Computer, double-click the CD drive used, and run the fi le autonrun.exe. Download: Execute the downloaded fi le. The product key is on a label if you acquired the CD-Rom, or the with the link to purchase the product received by Download. The address and password must be the same registered in the Acutec site. B.2 If confi rmed data, download the latest version of KIMETER 2.0 software will start. Please wait. You will also receive an with your password for use of the product. If an error occurs between contact our technical support (acutec.com.br). B.3 Install the program following the instructions. 4

5 3. Click Install SQLITE C.1 Click Next Acutec C.2 Click Next again (It is highly recommended to install SQLITE in the directory - Program Files). C.3 Let the Full instalation option and click Next. C.4 Click Next again. Important! C.5 Let all options selected, as the screenshot below, and click Next. C.6 Click Install. C.7 Wait for the screen to appear completion and voila! Close the installation screen. To run KIMETER, click the icon created on the desktop. 5

6 Instruction Manual KIMETER Software KIMETER 2.0 When running the software, a password will be requested. This password is sent at the time of installation of the product (not to be confused with your password in Acutec ). Check your ! 5. Starting Kimeter with EM200USB or EM200 Compact If you have the EM200 USB or EM200 Compact device, make sure it is turned on and connected to the PC. If you are user of Ryodoraku-EM200 or Kimeter 1.0, after the initial login, it is highly recommended to run Step 19 (import data) before performing the first measurement or register! 6. Main menu On the Main menu, a list of registered clients is presented. (The Example-Client is already registered. If you want to delete it, no problems). By double-clicking on a client, you will fi nd below a list of all his exams. Both the list of clients or exams can be reordered in ascending or descending column by double clicking on the desired column header. 6

7 7. Client Search Acutec Enter the client name in the search fi eld, and click the magnifying glass button to perform the search: To return the full list of clients click on All Clients 8. Client register Click on New Client Complete the client information as requested in the fi elds: 9. Modify Client/ Delete Client Register Click the desired client from the list, then click Edit Change the information you want, and then click Save. If you wish to delete the client, click Delete Print client register Click the desired client and click the Print button. Wait until the end of processing, then the following screen appears: Click on Printer icon to print the report. Click the Save icon to export the fi le, and save it in the desired location. 7

8 Instruction Manual KIMETER New Exam Click on New Exam and the following screen appears: Click Start in the software, or Start / Pause in EM200USB device to start measuring. In the 6 th pulse the value is registered. For Each measured point, a new fi gure will appear to show the location of the next point to be measured: Click Pause in the software, or Start / Pause EM200USB device to go into Paused mode. Click Restart in the software, or Start / Pause in EM200USB device to exit the Paused mode, and continue the measurement. Click Stop in the software, or STOP in EM200USB device to end the measurement. If the measurement is terminated before it is completed, a warning is given, and the measurement will not be saved. After the measurement succeeded, a graph is displayed (this screen is explained in View Graph ) 8

9 12. Manual Inclusion Acutec If you do not have the EM200USB device and wanted to record a measurement, click on Manual Inclusion Enter the respective values to the points, starting at point LU9(E). The max value allowed is 200! Click on Restart to clear all the values. Click on Stop to fi nish the measurement. If the measurement is terminated before is completed, a warning is given, and the measurement is not saved. To navigate between points entered, use the buttons Previous and Next, to continue, press Enter on the last point entered After the measurement succeeded, a graph is displayed (this screen is explained in View Graph ) 13. View graph After successful measurement, automatically the View Graph screen is loaded. 9

10 Instruction Manual KIMETER 2.0 Kimeter has six kinds of graphic view: Bars, the default mode. Lines 5 Elements Yin Yang By Element Energy Cycle To navigate between the types click the respective buttons. The initial graph is of type Bar and only in such changes or their exclusion can be made. Red bars show the meridians to be sedated, blue bars show those in need of toning and green bars show values in the average. Stimulating treatment To perform the treatment is necessary that EM200USB device is on and connected to the PC. In the View Graph screen, click on Stimulate. The OUT POINTS of the graphic will not be considered for treatment. Initial treatment is a Sedate, if you want click Tone Up to start toning. To change the treatment machine press Tone up/ Sedate. Use the intensity button EM200USB device for adjusting the intensity of treatment. 11

Click Pause in the software, or Start / Pause EM200USB the device to go into Paused mode. Click Pause again in the software, or Start / Pause in EM200USB device to exit the Paused mode and continue treatment. Listed in red are the points to sedate, and in blue are the points to tone up. Clicking in points, a fi gure appears indicating the location of the point to be treated. Click stop in the software or STOP in EM200USB machine to fi nish the treatment. 16. Last Exams In the main menu, Double click the client you want, and click on Last Exams. The last measurement graphic of the client will appear on the screen. You can navigate through the exams, clicking on Previous and Next buttons. Remember that the navigation begins in the last exam, and ends up in the fi rst exam. This Screen, has all functionalities described in View Graph 17. Point Locator If there is any doubt on the location of points, EM200USB EM200USB Compact and provide a way to measure where the current is greater. To use the Locator, click the icon in the upper right. click the button Begin/Search to start. To end the locator click on Stop/Close ; 12

Informations of the clinic Click on Settings and select the tab System Confi guration Acutec Fill out the fi elds with the information of your clinic, and if you have a logo image, click on Choose Image and browse the location of the fi le. Click on Save To return to main menu, click Back. B. Changing password Click on Settings and select the tab System Confi guration. Select Change password, on the right side of the screen, enter the current password and the new password, and then click Save. C. Changing language and inclusion of measurement values type and Default Points Visualization Method. Click on Settings and select the tab System Confi guration Select in the list, the default language; If you have the EM200 USB or EM200 USB Compact, select it on the list. 14 Instruction Manual KIMETER Settings - System configuration/backups To use this Backup utility, click on Confi guration button Select the Tab Backup In this tab, you can create, delete and restore Backups Remember that once you had deleted a Backup, it can t be restored!! When a backup is restored, the recent data is replaced by the backup data. After the restoring process you will need to close Kimeter, and run it again. 20. Settings - Data Transfer from previous version This topic is used only by users of the Software Ryodorau-EM200 or Kimeter 1.0. The objective is to copy all records from previous software to the current version. Now, in KIMETER 2.0, the tab Import Data, click the magnifying glass button and point the previously generated backup. Click Update. If there is any mistake in this step, please contact our technical support in C. Settings-Updates Enter and password registration in Acutec, and click OK. To update, fi rst close the KIMETER 2.0 The upgrade fi le is compressed in RAR and extension. You must have WinRAR program. Unzip the fi le and click the fi le atualizador.exe. Wait a few minutes.
