4 1 Installation and use This application allows CashDro3 and CashDro5 models work with a sales software integrated by files. They can work one or more points of sale with a single CashDro. You must Install CashDro.exe in all points of sale that will be linked with the CashDro. To do this you must use the master installation of the application, available at the following link: When opening the application main screen appears. To leave the application open and minimized, click the CashDro logo in the upper left corner of the main screen. 5 1.1 Start Return to main screen. 1.2 Menu CashDro When clicking on this option we visualize on the screen the CashDro menu software. This option allows us to perform any operation or consult with CashDro software directly from the point of sale screen. To close the screen and return to the CashDro.exe main screen click on "Close" button at the top of the screen. 1.3 Settings Access to settings menu described in section 2 of this manual. 1.4 Exit Close the application. 6 2 Settings 2.1 Web Service When access to "Settings" option appears the screen corresponding to the first section of the menu, Web Service: In this section you must indicate the IP CashDro and the name and password of one of the users created in CashDro software with which we link the point of sale. Any operation performed from the sales software will take place in CashDro with this CashDro user. If you make an operation from the point of sale software and it is not allowed for the user configured, CashDro.exe request a user name and password to assign another CashDro software user who has permission for that operation. For example, if you make a negative sale in the sales software and the user configured on CashDro.exe have not access to payments, appears at the point of sale a screen requesting user name and password so that we can enter the details of a CashDro software user that accesses payments and can perform the operation. 2.2 Folder settings There are two possible types of integration: Integration by files Integration by reading barcodes Manual CashDro.exe to CashDro3 and CashDro5 3

7 2.2.1 Integration by files In this section you must indicate folders sharing files. The sales software will leave request files in the requests folder and CashDro.exe will leave answer files in the answers folder. We must ensure that we have configured the same folders in CashDro.exe and sales software. If we are linking several points of sale with a CashDro, we recommend setting local folders in each of the points of sale since we can set different folders in each Integration by reading barcodes This type of integration can work with software sales or scales that may include an EAN13 code in the design of the ticket. 8 In the above image shows a configuration example that is interpreted as follows: codes starting with 123, the integer part of the amount "I" occupies from position 4 to 8 and the decimal part "D" positions 9 and 10. The remaining part marked "X" is ignored. 2.3 General In this section are configured parameters concerning the language, visualization and behavior of movements with cash Language You can choose the language you want to view CashDro.exe Start up minimized If this option is activated when starting CashDro.exe remains always minimized. It is recommended to activate always this option because normally when you open the sales software, it automatically starts CashDro.exe who must be minimized in the background. If we have maximized the application we can minimize it again clicking on the logo in the upper left corner of the screen Validate per screen changes not available If you activate this option, when there is a change not available appears on the point of sale screen a message reporting about it. 9 amount of the sale is exceeded during the collection process. This way the collection time is reduced in cases where the point of sale software waits for the completion of the collection to generate the ticket. Before activating this option, we must ensure that the integration with the sales software provide for such operation Import manual operations realized from CashDro You must activate this option if you want the operations performed directly on the CashDro touch screen are imported by the sales software. If multiple points of sale working on one CashDro, this option should be activated only in one of them. 2.4 Printer CashDro.exe can print the receipts generated by CashDro using any printer connected to point of sale, without which it is connected by Ethernet or WiFi with CashDro. In this section appear the printers configured on the machine where we installed CashDro.exe. You only need to select one and for her will be printed the receipts generated by CashDro. Important: For CashDro.exe print the proofs for this printer is mandatory that in the equipment CashDro software, the field IP in the section Configuration-Pinting is empty.
