1 Tri-OpticToGo (TTG) 2.1 Release Notes EDP, LLC is excited to announce the release of version 2.1 for Tri-OpticToGo (TTG). Inside this release you will find an intuitive outline of new TTG features unique to version 2.1, demonstration of these new features, and what to expect when you first launch TTG 2.1. System Requirements OS: Vista, Windows XP, Win7, Win8 RAM: 64MB or greater Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.0 or higher; ActiveX** Free Disk Space: 1GB Internet Connection required **IE 6 is no longer supported for TTG.com **IE 8 will not display Print Previews or.pdfs of current or previous print runs. We recommend installing IE9 or higher on a Win7 or higher OS. Users that have IE 8 on an XP operating system will be required to follow the instructions below under TTG.com on Windows XP using Internet Explorer 8 to enable the print preview to function properly in TTG.com. Microsoft has announced that they will continue to provide antimalware support for Windows XP until July 2015, a little over one year after its end-oflife date on April 8, To learn more about the support of Windows XP, please refer to the link below. Configuration Setting Changes Javascript must be enabled Do not have Compatibility Mode enabled for your IE Browser TTG.com on Windows XP using Internet Explorer 8 The latest updates pushed on 11/13/2013 by Microsoft for Windows XP included an update for IE 8 that is causing TTG.com to not display the label previews or print history.pdf previews. The current work around to have the label previews display correctly would be to uninstall the update called MS ( ). 1

Steps: 1. Navigate to Control Panel/Add_Remove programs and then check the View Installed Update box 2. Navigate to the MS13-088 (2888505) that was installed on 11/13/13 and select <remove> 3.

Once the update is removed and the computer has restarted, open IE 8 4. Navigated to and sign into your account 5. Navigate to your print history queue and select <preview> on a print run to launch a pdf preview 6. The system should launch the pdf with the viewable images correctly What to Expect when Version 2.1 is Deployed and You Sign in for the First Time Important Note: Once a user has logged into their account, they will need to perform the following actions: Select <F5> to refresh your browser to ensure the Java Script files have been updated Clear your browser cache/temporary internet files Users will login with 2.1 the same way they did with 2.0. No login or user-data will change. Users will now have two new options on the home page: Under Queues on the left-hand side of the screen Pending Queue and Rejected Queue are now available options. These queues correspond directly with the new user ability to print jobs for client approval or rejection (see new features below). You can also expect a full new list of features and enhancements that can be found below. 2

After receiving the feedback the Partner is then given the ability to print (if approved), reconfigure and resend a rejected label back out for approval. Label Approval Process Steps 1. Users will first want to make sure all parties have added the address: noreply@tri-optictogo.com to ensure any corresponding s will not be marked as SPAM. 2. After finishing a label configuration users will be given the option to Add to Queue where a job may be printed later, Print Now, or Get Approval which will then allow the user to send the label configuration to a client for feedback. 3. Once the Get Approval button is clicked, the user is then prompted to provide the address of their client. 3

4 4. The client will then receive an with a link to the display of the label configuration and can choose to approve or reject. 4

5 5. Labels rejected by a client will be sent to the Rejection Queue where they can be reconfigured, previewed or deleted. Users Now Have the Ability to Produce a Base 36 Sequence Users now may choose Base 36 under Sequence Type which will sequence one cell through letters and numbers. This allows one cell to contain numbers 0-9 and letters A-Z instead of only one or the other. 5

6 Users Now Have the Ability to Lock Cell Positions This allows users to lock a set of prefixed values on their labels. For example if the last four cells should always be 2014 (to denote the year in this example), and the other figures need to change, the constant 2014 can now be locked into place. Users Now Have the Ability to Have Standard Alpha to Alpha or Numeric to Numeric Rolling Sequences This will allow users to enter their first label number, the quantity and increment value, and have the remaining labels configured as opposed to entering each label by hand. 6
