2 CAPI Simple Process Flow
3 CITRIX Everyone using CAPI will need to have CITRIX access. At the end of this packet you will find instructions on how to install CITRIX and how to change your password. CAPI Login 1. Enter your OR# or P# in the Username box 2. Enter your password in the Password box Note: your password is case sensitive. 3. Click on the dropdown box on the right side of the Branch box to select the branch you are assigned to. 4. Click on the LOGIN button.
4 CAPI User Lookup The Site Administrator can use the search function to locate an employee to assign the worker to a branch, or assign the rights the employee will have for their level of work. 2. The search is completed by entering the employee s Last Name and First Name into the boxes in the in the light blue section of the screen. You may also use the Employee s OR# or P# entered in the ID# field. 3. Click on the Search button to proceed to the next section. 4. You will then see the Screen below. Click on the requested employee. For example, Test N has appeared in the search window below. 4
5 Setting User Account Status Once you have chosen the employee, you need to set the worker s account status. Choose either Active or Inactive by clicking the appropriate bubble at the bottom of the light blue section of the screen. In the dark blue band at the bottom of the screen there are buttons for SAVE, CANCEL, NEW SEARCH, and ADD SITES AND ROLES. Be sure to save any changes on this screen as they will be lost once you navigate to the next screen.
6 Adding Sites and Roles for Users When you click on the ADD SITES AND ROLES option, a confirmation Message Box will appear. To navigate to the next screen, click on YES. Reminder: Changes that have not been saved will be lost. To add a new site or individual roles for this user click on the Add a new site button.
7 Branch Assignment A list of Districts available will be displayed. To locate a branch, choose the + symbol next to the district in which the branch is located. This will expand the information to list the branches located within that district as seen below. Select the branch (es) to be assigned by marking the box to the left of the branch. After making your selections, click the NEXT button.
8 Job Title Selection The Job Title section, as shown above, will be displayed. Select the appropriate job title for the worker by clicking on the radio button to the left of the job title. Be sure you are selecting the job title appropriate for the person you are assigning the roles for as there are a few on the list that look similar.
9 Assigning Roles Once you have chosen the appropriate job title, the Review Recommended Permissions window will appear. This view will allow you to assign specific roles for the individual. Default roles are marked with a check mark and are also in black print. You may add or remove roles from this section. For each of the roles in red print that you select, or any role you deselect, you will see the MsgBox Assign Confirmation box, as shown below. Enter a statement as to why you are assigning/un-assigning this role and click on the SAVE button. You will have to do this process for each role.
10 Assign Roles Finalization Once you have marked all of the assigned roles, click on the ASSIGN button to finalize the process. The screen below will appear showing that the changes to this person s account have been completed.

12 How to Install the Citrix Client This document explains how to install the Citrix client from the DHS Remote Access Portal. 1. Launch the website 2. Log in using your username and current password. 3. Click on the button. 4. The DHS Remote Access Portal page contains a Citrix client detection application. If you don t have the client installed, you will see the following page:
13 5. Select By selecting the check box and click the button. Another window opens to a Citrix website to download the software. Select the circled selection Citrix Clients.
14 6. Next click on the circled link, Citrix Online Plug-in Version Finally click on Citrix online plug-in Web. DO NOT choose the top download box.
15 8. Click on the click here button to download client and not the download manager. 9. Choose Run to run the file.
16 10. Choose Run again when the following screen appears to start the install. 11. When complete you will see this message. Go ahead and hit okay.
17 Other Options There are other options on the client detection page. They are: Already installed: This is used if you know that you have the Citrix client installed and the client detection page thinks that you don t. If you click this when you don t have the client installed, please see Run Client Detection section. Try alternative clients: This is for a Java client. It is not recommended to use this client as it is slow. Try later: If you want to try later for client detection. Remember, that you have to have a Citrix client installed if you want to access your applications. Log off: If you don t want to install the client or make any other changes, please log off. Run Client Detection 1. If you want to run client detection again, click on the Preferences tab at the top of the page and go to Connection Preferences. 2. Click on button.
18 How to Change Your Password in Citrix This document explains how to change your password in Citrix Remote Access Portal. 12. Launch the website Log in using your username and current password. HINT: Your user name is your EIN (Employee Identification Number) or your Partner number. 13. Click on the button. 14. To change your password, click the Change Password link at the bottom of the page.
19 15. You will now see the following page: 16. Type in your old password, followed by the new password and then confirm it. Click the button to accept the new password. Once the password is accepted, you will be returned to your applications. REMINDER: The password policy for the DHS domain is the following: Minimum of 8 characters Must contain 1 number Must contain 1 capital letter Cannot repeat the last 5 passwords Expires in 90 days
