2 Introduction Welcome to the world of wireless communication. We are pleased that you have chosen the Anjels inet. inet Configurator is a software for you to personalize your inet. inet Configurator allows you to Create/Edit/Delete the data structure, icons, scene control and extra to enhance your lifestyle. The user guide will go through the whole process with a sample project for better understanding.

3 inet Configurator Setup File Visit Mini-iNet cum inet Configurator Setup Program (for Windows) Download and install the program. Note:iNet Configurator applicable for Windows only.

4 inet User Interface - Example Group Location Main Page Scene Control inet Configurator will be used to configure your own user interface.

7 NO Button Button Explanations 1 Delete All Data Delete all the data/configuration/settings. 2 Select IP Select the IP address of the inet that the inet Configurator program will communicate to. 3 Upgrade Configurator inet Configurator will check for the upgrade/latest version on internet. 4 Upgrade inet Upgrade the inet firmware. 5 Restore From inet Restore the data/configuration/settings from the inet. 6 Set Language Select English or Mandarin. Other languages may be added in future. 7 Select Mask Select masks for the icons appearing on the main screen. 8 Make Icon Create your own icon. 9 Edit Main Add/Edit/Delete icons in the main page. 10 Edit Devices Add/Edit/Delete devices under each location. 11 Edit Scenes Add/Edit/Delete scene control activities. 12 Edit Conditions Add/Edit/Delete the sensors conditions and activities to carry out. 13 Set Linebreak To separate the Group and Location control. 14 Security Security system configuration. 15 Upload to inet Upload new data/configuration/settings to inet. 16 Exit Exit the program.

8 1 Delete All Data After you click on Delete All Data icon, a window as above will appear. You have to key in the word delete and click OK, in order to delete all the data in the Configurator. Click Cancel to go back to previous page.

9 2 Select IP After click on Select IP button, window as above will appear. Key in the inet IP address. Click Cancel to go back to previous page.

10 3 Upgrade Configurator inet Configurator will search for upgrade through internet automatically.

11 4 Upgrade inet Upgrade the inet to a newer version. You may upgrade from a version to the same version with no ill effect. This option is provided in case of any error during upgrading and the process is incomplete. Once upgraded, you cannot downgrade. Certain upgrade may cause the inet to reboot but this will be done automatically if necessary. Note:iNet Configurator version and inet version is not necessary to be the same. 5 Restore from inet Data from inet will be download and restored to the Configurator residing in your PC/Laptop. All the Configurator data on the PC/Laptop will be overwritten. Click Yes to start restore the data from inet. Click No to cancel.

12 6 Set Language Tick the preferred language and click Save. inet Configurator will shut off itself. The new language setting will work when you launch the program again.

14 7 Select Mask NO: Button Button Explanations A Select a mask for devices. Select mask effect for Group and Location icons. B Select a mask for scenes. Select mask effect for scene control icons. C Exit. Exit to previous page. Aluminium mask example. Stamp mask example.

15 8 Make Icon Pick Picture Select the picture that you want to create as an icon. The picture to be used as an icon will shown at New icon is shown here. Give a name for the new icon and click Save. Cancel is to cancel and go back to previous page.

17 9 Edit Main- A No Button Button Explanations A Change Icon To browse the icon library for your preferred icon.

18 9 Edit Main- B No Button Button Explanations B Edit Footer Clicked to change the [Footer] type. Footer sample.

19 Edit Main- 9 C No Button Button Explanations C Edit Group Add/Edit/Delete devices from the grouping. Group is used to group the devices from different location into a group of same type/function of devices for easier operation. Add Device is to add a device, which can be from any location, into the selected Group. If you want to add a sensor into the group, please click on Add Sensor. Delete is to delete the selected device or sensor. Save is to save all the new settings. Cancel is to cancel all the changes and go back to previous page.

20 Edit Main- 9 D No Button Button Explanations D Add Desc. Add new Location or Group. Location ID - [ 0 for Group, ID 0 is repeatable.] - [ 1 to 12 for Location, ID number is non-repeatable.] Description The description for the location/group icon name/labels. Footer Select the preferred footer setting. Change Icon Choose and change to your the preferred icon. Save Save the new setting and go back to the previous page. Cancel Go back to the previous page without adding a new location/group.

21 Edit Main- 9 E No Button Button Explanations E Add Function Add new Special Build-in function to the main page. Tick the function that you want and click save. The selected function will appear on the main page. The functions above can be activated through the gear icon(setting).

23 Edit Main- 9 G to M No Button Button Explanations G Exit Exit and go back to the previous page. H Re-Sequence Re-arrange the sequence which is sorted in ascending order. I Sequence The icons will appear on the user interface in ascending order, from left to right and with a maximum 4 icons per row. J Location ID Display the location ID information. K Description The icon description. Example: Meeting Room L Icon File The picture file that was selected as icon. M Footer The used footer type that was selected.

25 Edit Devices- 10 A No Button Button Explanations A Change Button Select the preferred command button type. Note: Different type of device/control use a different button. Button Sample Button Selection

26 Edit Devices- 10 B No Button Button Explanations B Add Device Add a device to the selected location. Max. 16 devices per Location. Every device will have its own unique Location id and Device ID. For example: Image above, Light 01 02

30 Edit Scenes - 11 A No Button Button Explanations A Add Scene Add a new scene control. Fill in a description for the new scene control. Select a preferred icon and click Save. Cancel is to exit without saving the setting.

31 Edit Scene - 11 B No Button Button Explanations B Edit Scene Command Add/Edit/Delete the device activities to be carry out. Image above as Example : Leaving Home scene control. Add Device is to add the device that will carry out an action once the Leaving Home is activated. Edit Command is to edit the device action. Based on the example above: Leaving Home, once activated, the Light in Living&Dining Room will be switched OFF.

32 12 Edit Conditions Edit the actions to be carry out when sensor detect movement and no movement. For example: Movement detected then switch ON the light. No Movement then switch OFF the light. A B Note:[Alphabets] above are used for explanations on next pages.

33 Edit Conditions - 12 A No Button Button Explanations A Add Trigger Select the type of trigger point. Select the sensor and choose the trigger upon type and click save. Note: For a sensor, must set the trigger upon for Movement Detected and No Movement. 有动作与无动作

34 Edit Conditions - 12 B No Button Button Explanations B Edit Scene Command Edit the actions to be carry out. Add Device add the device and device action once the sensor detect movement or no movement. Save, then you will see the setting added as image above. For example: Living&Dining Room Motion sensor detect movement, will switch ON the Living&Dining Room Light.

35 13 Set Linebreak Linebreak activated Linebreak deactivated Click here to activate and deactivate the Linebreak setting.

36 14 Security Please refer to Security System User Manual. 15 Upload to inet Upload the new data in the inet Configurator(new data in the PC/laptop)to inet. 16 Exit Exit inet Configurator program.
