Bidder to ensure that the hardware and software components are compatible with each other, and provide necessary cables/wires and any other accessories necessary for connecting the supplied components. Any accessories needed must be clearly mentioned and quoted as part of the tender. Bidder must provide an integrated system including installation of complete hardware (Compute and Master server). The installation should be free of cost at IIT Kharagpur. Bidder must demonstrate complete functioning of the integrated system to the satisfaction to the IIT Kharagpur evaluation committee. A total of Seven day on-site training on server management software and HPC must be provided by the vendor for IIT Kharagpur designated personnel. Bidders and OEM qualifying criteria: The bidders/oem must have supplied at least 3 HPC orders of 500 cores Cluster at Academic environment in the Country. Need to attach PO copies. Proposed OEM Hardware should have at least 10 entries in list in the latest November 2015 release. Proposed OEM Hardware which will be supplied should have a Bench Mark ratting on the current jobs. OEM proposed by bidders should have Sales and support office in Country for the last 10 years and have support office in Kolkata. Compute nodes, Master Nodes, Storage System plus software s like Cluster Manager, Job scheduler, parallel file system should be quoted with support from OEM. The bidder should have a minimum 3 years of experience in HPC with Sales and support office in Country for the last 10 years and should be an ISO certified services organization. Bidder should be OEM/Authorized Partner /service provider of the OEM and a Letter of Authorization from OEM on the same and specific to the tender should be enclosed. The warranty provided by the bidder should have a back to back arrangement with the OEM. The declaration should be the part of a Letter of Authorization and signed by competent authority at the OEM. 6/7
