1 QUARTERLY COMPLIANCE REPORT (APRIL 2017) OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY (U 338-E) REGARDING STATUS OF TRANSMISSION PROJECTS AND GENERATION INTERCONNECTION PROJECTS Pursuant to Commission Decision ( D. ) , SCE hereby provides this quarterly report on the status of transmission and generation interconnection projects. Relevant information on the construction status, approval status and the purpose of the project (in the form requested by Energy Division) is provided in the attached tables. Modifications from the previous report are highlighted in gray. Cancelled projects are highlighted in green and new projects are highlighted in yellow. Project cost information has already been provided to the Energy Division under Public Utilities Code Section 583 and is therefore not included in the table. Updates and Modifications to Report SCE has made the following updates and modifications from the January 2017 Quarterly Report: OVERALL CHANGES New projects submitted into the 2 nd Quarter 2017 filing: No new projects submitted this quarter. Projects removed from 2 nd Quarter 2017 filing (projects are removed from the AB970 Report four quarters after they are operational, incorporated into another project, or cancelled): Project No. 88 Jasper 220kV Substation PROJECT UPDATES Project No. 24 Path 42 Upgrade Project Status: SCE scope of work is complete Project No. 51 Wildlife (formally Jurupa) 230kV Sub Transmission Miles: 10 Planned In-Service Date: 7/1/2023 Cost Range ($M): 350M-400M

2 Project No. 53 West of Devers (WOD) Upgrade Project Project Description: This project also includes partial upgrade to San Bernardino - Etiwanda and San Bernardino - Vista 220kV lines. Project No. 58 Tehachapi Renewable Transmission Project Project No. 59 North of Magunden Redundant BCT Upgrade Project No. 64 Lugo Sub Install new 500kV CBs for AA Banks Cost Range ($M): 1.1M-10M Project No. 82 Mesa 500 kv Substation Approval Status o CPUC: PTC Approved February 2017 Project Status: Pre-Construction Project No. 105 New SCE-Owned Eldorado 220 kv Switchyard and 500/220 kv AA Transformer Bank PIN No.: 7248/7241 Project No. 112 Victor-Aqueduct 115kV Line Project Status: Cancelled Project No. 113 Victor Loop-in Project Project No. 114 Eldorado-Lugo-Mohave Upgrade Planned In-Service Date: 6/1/2020 Project No. 115 Lugo-Mohave Series Capacitor Upgrade Planned In-Service Date: Transferred as part of work associated with PIN Project No. 117 Lugo -Victorville RAS Project No. 118 Whirlwind 3 rd AA Bank and SPS Project No. 119 Santiago Synchronous Condenser 2

3 Planned In-Service Date: 12/31/2017 Project No. 120 Eldorado-Mohave & Eldorado-Moenkopi 500 kv Line Position Swap Location: Clark County, Nevada Approval Status: o CPUC: This work takes place in Nevada. PUCN ruled the project exempt. Project No. 122 Kramer High Voltage Mitigation Tertiary and Bus Shunt Reactors Project No. 123 Eagle Mountain Reactor Project Project No. 124 Calcite 220kV Substation PIN No.: 7885/6092 Generation Interconnection Projects Updated Item to reflect that all SCE facilities are now complete, including TRTP, and the initial 189 MW phase of generation is operational (no incremental SCE facilities required to accommodate the remaining generation). Accordingly, this project will be removed from the report during the Third Quarter update. Updated Item Planned In Service Date to reflect that TRTP is complete; the 3rd AA Bank at Whirlwind is expected to be in service in May 2017; and the Northern Area SPS in service date is TBD and continues to be under review. Removed Items and as these projects are now operational and all SCE upgrades are complete as indicated in the First Quarter 2017 update. Updated Item to reflect that the Project Capacity has been downsized to 140 MW and that all SCE facilities are now complete, including TRTP. Accordingly, this project will be removed from the report during the Third Quarter update. Updated Item Project Name and Planned In Service Date to reflect that all SCE facilities are now complete, including TRTP, and the initial 394 MW phase of generation is operational (no incremental SCE facilities required to accommodate the remaining generation). Accordingly, this project will be removed from the report during the Third Quarter update. Updated Items 18.31, 18.32, and to reflect that TRTP is complete; the 3rd AA Bank at Whirlwind is expected to be in service in May 2017; and the Northern Area SPS in service date is TBD and continues to be under review. 3
