Ballots are due by Monday December 9, 2013 at 11:59 pm ET. Please use the following links to view the revisions online, access and submit your ballot, and view any related reports on the NFPA Document Information page. Attached please find instructions for submitting your ballot. View the Revisions: TerraView Draft link To view all of the revisions within the draft document. Access Your Ballot: NFPA 72 First Draft Ballot link You must hit SUBMIT to SAVE your work. Please note the system session will time you out after 60 minutes and any work not submitted will not be saved! You may return to finish or change your ballot at any time up to the closing date. If your ballot comments are longer than 4,000 characters you may submit them in a Word document, via , to Jenny Depew at jdepew@nfpa.org. Any unchecked ballot items will default to an Affirmative vote. View Related Reports: Public Inputs or Public Comments with Responses, First or Second Revisions and Committee Inputs, if any. 2 Viewing Revisions Online: To review Revisions online, please click on the link provided in your ballot and sign in with your NFPA username and password: Please note, when viewing the Revisions, you will have the option to see each of them in legislative text or in clean text by clicking on the Hide Edit button. In addition, a pdf of either the First or Second Revisions with Statements and the Public Inputs or Comments Reports have been posted to the NFPA Document Information pages for your convenience To view these reports, click on the following link and sign into Doc Info with your NFPA username and password. Submitting Your Ballots: *Non Voting Members: The new online system can only maintain those committee members eligible to vote, however, we continue to welcome your input. Please follow the instructions above for Viewing Revisions Online and send any comments by to the Project Administrator. As always any comments you submit will be provided to the committee during the re circulation process. IMPORTANT NOTES WHEN WORKING WITH YOUR BALLOT: You must hit SUBMIT to SAVE your work. Please note the system session will time you out after 60 minutes and any work not submitted will not be saved! The comment field on each ballot question has a maximum of 4,000 characters. For comments longer than 4,000 characters you may submit your comments via to the Project Administrator for inclusion with the circulation and/or final results reports. HOW TO ACCESS MY BALLOT(S): 1. To access your ballots online, please click on the link provided in the ballot and sign in with your NFPA username and password. 2. This will bring you to the balloting home page where you will be able to view ALL of your open ballots. However, if you have only one open ballot, please skip to step 4 listed below. 3. If you have multiple open ballots, you will need to select which ballot you would like to work on by using the Action header and selecting the green Start arrow to access the desired ballot. You will need to repeat this step to access your other open ballots. 4. Choose one of the two choices: To Vote Affirmative All Select Affirmative All, click on the check box and then click on Next.

To Vote Affirmative with Exception(s) Select Affirmative with Exception(s), click on the check box and click on Next. Click on one of the following choices below. Please note any of these votes requires the submitter to provide comments. Ballots questions that are left unchecked will default to an Affirmative vote. Affirmative with Comment Negative Abstain modify the ballot form, and then re submit. 5. To change your ballot: You have the ability to change your ballot at any time prior to the closing date To do this follow steps 1 and 2 listed above. At the balloting home page, find the ballot you wish to change and click on CHANGE VOTE to access the ballot. You can now make any changes to your ballot.
