3 Example Usage Overview Visage 7 supports routine clinical workflow. The usage of the application can be described with this example of an anterior chest lesion. The workflow consists of the following steps: Review viewer layouts and linking of current and prior studies. Focus on Findings Use of Lesion tool, selecting and marking a lesion. SUV tool card. Export Snapshots and Report Reach your diagnosis and take snapshots of the findings. Export snapshots back to the database or create a report that embeds your screen captures. 4 Browse Viewer Layouts Select desired viewer layout from the layout tabs located above the viewers. Note there may be current, prior and combined current/prior layouts. Prior exam(s) will be displayed using red fonts for the patient information. 4 Browse Viewer Layouts Visage Imaging

6 Current/Prior Linking To link current and prior studies by anatomical position, uncheck Toggle Linking. To link by current position, scroll either study to the desired position, then select Link Current Position from the drop-down. 7 Lesion Selection/SUV Select Lesion tool from the tool bar or on the tool palette. Left-click in the center of the lesion (prior study), then left-click in the center of the same lesion on the current study. The maximum SUV is displayed on both and the percent change will be displayed on the current study. Lesion tool Visage Imaging Lesion Selection/SUV 7

8 Lesion Threshold If the Lesion tool selects anatomy outside of the lesion, threshold adjustment is needed. Hold down the Shift key, left-click, and drag to increase or decrease the desired threshold. The maximum SUV will not change but this adjustment will change the volume calculation. shift Shift + Adjust threshold Adjusted threshold 8 Lesion Threshold Visage Imaging

9 Measurements/RECIST To comply with RECIST criteria, maximum and bidirectional (if desired) measurements of lesion(s) can be generated. Lesions can be marked as a target, non-target or unspecified. Select the desired label from therecist drop-downonthe SUV toolbar. Select the Single or Bidirectional tool from the SUV tool bar, then left-click and drag across the lesion to generate the measurement. If using the Bidirectional tool, click and drag to create the first measurement, then do the same for the second measurement. 10 Compute SUV/Volume Results Once lesion(s) have been selected, computed results can be viewed in the Statistics tool card which is shown in an either floating or docked way. shift Tools drop-down opens floating Statistics tool card In the Statistics tool card, simply click the Compute button to view comprehensive results. 11 Lesion Analysis Report A report can be generated and will have the lesion findings embedded into the body of the report. Select the Lesion analysis report from the report drop-down. Images can be placed in the body of the report by dragging them from the Snapshots list on the left. shift The report can be saved as a PDF or Word document. Selecting the Camera icon located on the top tool bar will create a secondary capture of the report and place it in the Snapshots list. Images in the list can be sent as a new DICOM series orsaved toalocaldrive.
