1 BP Admin Training : How to manage an End Customer company in Rainbow Cloud Services BU - Customer Care & Analytics 1

2 Training objectives This training is dedicated to the Business Partner willing to manage his own company and his End Customers (EC) in Rainbow. It will explain the 5 steps to be followed by the BP : Step 1 : The procedure to create his own company and how to manage his members Step 2 : The Business partner enrollment (the procedure to request BP Administrator Rights) Step 3 : How to manage the equipment of the BP company (system creation, user/device association) Step 4 : Send the Mail of Intent to acquire BP admin right (Level 2) Step 5 : The procedure to affiliate an EC Company, manage members and their equipment. Configure Emily to reach your support 2

3 End-to-end process for Business Partners For Business Partner administrator Step1 - Create your company Step2 Request BP Admin right (level1) Step3 Manage your company Step4 - Sign the Mail of Intent to acquire BP admin right (Level 2) Step5 Manage the EC company Add company information Send #enroll-me message to Emily Continue to invite users Create an EC company & Admin user Invite users The ALE Customer Care team give L1 BP rights Add your equipment (system creation) Invite users (could be done by the EC Admin) Set support for Emily Manage your User / device association Add customer equipment (system creation) Manage customer User/device association BP admin rights level 1: You can manage your own company and connect your PBX to Rainbow BP admin rights level 2: You can as well manage your customers and connect their PBX to Rainbow 3

4 Step1 : Create your own company For an existing Rainbow user, it is possible to create his own company after the first connection in Rainbow, by clicking on your settings and select Create my company and follow the wizard : The Rainbow user is automatically granted as an administrator of his company : 4

5 Invite members of your company Dasboard & Company information The administrator can invite other people to reach his company : Members activity: Administration screen Update your company information To be noted that the search only works for people inside the Rainbow public company (default company) 5

6 Step2 : Business partner enrollment Request rights for BP administrator rights level 1 Pre-requisite: An existing Rainbow company, with at least one member (Administrator in that case) The Business partner enrollment must be done by sending a request to the Rainbow assistant Emily. To be accepted, this request must specify a partner Identifiers known by Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise : Name of the company, CRD id, and contact of the Rainbow company admin. To know the required list of information please ask Emily by typing #Enroll-help By reception of your approval, the Rainbow Customer Care Team will grant your Company as a BP company, and grant the user you have indicated as a BP Admin. When connecting to the Rainbow Web client, your BP Admin will be able to manage his own company (level 1). 6

7 Step3 : Manage the BP Company Administration view with «BP Admin» rights (Level 1) A second part is displayed and allows the BP Admin to manage EC companies : This part appears for all company administrators This part appears only for BP Admin to manage their own devices and their EC companies 7

8 Step3 : Manage the BP Company Add PBX equipment Retrieve credentials to be declared on the PBX agent side 8

9 Step 4 : Send the Mail of Intent to acquire BP admin right (Level 2) This MoI must be sent to your ALE Channel Sales Manager With the admin rights level 2, the managed companies tab allows you to create and manage your EC companies : The create button is only available if the Mail of intent has been received 9

10 Step 5 : Create and manage End Customers companies The Managed Companies tab (in the previous slide) allows to create an EC company and invite the EC administrator: 1. Fill in the Company characteristics (name, Offer type = Fremium, Visibility = Public or Private) 2. Define the administrator of this Company, who may be an existing Rainbow user, or an address (in both cases, an invitation is sent) For an association of an existing Essential Company : please contact support@openrainbow.com with the name of the existing Company you want to be associated with. 10

11 Example of EC companies affiliated to a BP company And associated members of one EC company To invite more people The EC Admin can also invite people of his company. To delete companies or members : please contact: support@openrainbow.com 11

12 Management of the EC equipment (PBX) In the Equipment tab, the add button allows to create a system. After filling the name and the PBX type, the credentials are automatically generated. The PBXID and the activation code must be entered in the PBX admin interface. (OMC for OXO 2.1 and MGR for OXE R12) To delete PBX equipment: please contact: support@openrainbow.com 12

13 Phone Number / user association Follow the 4 steps to select one member of one company and to associate him a phone number: The Device field is automatically filled. The extension number must be selected in drop down list (all phone numbers declared on the PBX, are automatically provisioned in this list after the first connection of the system in Rainbow) Indicate the direct dial-in phone number (DDI) for this user (public number) 13

14 Management of the Multi tenant equipment New! First step: Create a Multi tenant PBX in your administration tool Second step: Create a Multi tenant PBX for your end customers Create a Multi tenant PBX Create the PBX for your end customers Select the prefix that belongs to the EC company range Before associate the prefix range to the EC, the PBX must connected to Rainbow beforehand 14

15 Configure Emily to reach your support (Reseller mode) For your End Customers companies In the Reseller mode, the End Customers support Level1, will be managed directly by the Business partners or by a specific Help Desk. It is possible to configure Emily in Rainbow, to forward all support requests to a specific address, when the user uses Emily contact to notify an issue : To implement it, the BP support address must be defined as follows : 15

16 Configure Emily to reach your support For your own company It is also possible to manage this support address for the users of your own company : Note, for the Rainbow issues Level 2, your administrator has to contact support@openrainbow.com 16
