TVS are solid-state devices that are designed with large cross-sectional area junctions for conducting high transient currents. They offer desirable characteristics for board level including fast response time, low operating and clamping voltage and no device degradation. Semtech products are designed to meet industry immunity standards such as IEC , Telcordia (Bellcore) GR-089, FCC Part 8, K.0, K., and K.4. They feature low operating and clamping voltage, low leakage current, and low capacitance.
