18 Phase III: Transportation Mgt Plan 18 CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT ELEMENTS Two lanes of traffic open at all times on US 101 (except for certain nighttime activities) Do not close consecutive on-ramps/off-ramps Construction contract to include financial incentives to expedite temporary ramp closures Maintain access to residential and business areas during construction Maintain access for bikes and pedestrians as feasible COMMUNICATION GOALS Identify special event days for community and limit work activity Have regular construction updates to community through a variety of channels Provide advance information on construction activities no surprises!
