6 ABOUT THE CONFERENCE The IISE Annual Meeting and Expo IERC 2017 Energy Systems Track: A total of 11 sessions: 1 town hall, 6 regular, and 4 invited sessions; a total of 33 paper presentations. Energy Systems Track co-chairs: Md Noor Alam, Northeastern University Lihui Bai, University of Louisville Andrew Kusiak, University of Iowa
7 BEST PAPER AWARD 18 paper submissions and 15 papers accepted Saeedeh Abbasi, Masoud Barati, and Gino Lim from the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Houston co-authored this year s Energy Systems Division Best Paper!
