1 5/23/2012 WINDSTREAM ONLINE REFERRAL PARTNER USER GUIDE WINDSTREAM Online is a web based application allowing our Referral Partners and Customers access to manage many facets of their account. Windstream requires that all partners register to set-up an account on WINDSTREAM Online. Windstream utilizes this portal internally to support the partner account. WINDSTREAM Online User Registration To register your organization as a WINDSTREAM Online user, follow the steps outlined below: 1. Type in the URL: in an Internet Browser. 2. Click on the Dealer Login hyperlink located in the top right hand corner of the windstreambusiness.com home page, under the search box. Portal Access 3. Click on WINDSTREAM Online Partner Portal and then on the Register Now in the Not Registered Section 4. Select the User Type: Sales 5. Enter the Sales ID and Sales Office Zip code 6. Click Validate 7. Fill in required fields to create a User ID User ID Password address First and last name Set up answers to two security Questions 8. Click Submit 9. A confirmation will be sent to the address used to create the username. Once received, please click on the hyperlink to complete registration. 2 Logging in to WINDSTREAM Online 1. Type in the URL: in an Internet Browser. 2. Click on the Dealer Login hyperlink located in the top right hand corner of the windstreambusiness.com home page, under the search box. 3. Click on WINDSTREAM Online Partner Portal 4. Enter Agent Credentials WINDSTREAM Online Portal Access Upon logging into WINDSTREAM Online, a message regarding acknowledgement of Windstream s CPNI or Customer Proprietary Network Information agreement will appear. Click the button, I AGREE AND ACCEPT to proceed to WINDSTREAM Online. CPNI Agreement All Rights Reserved Page 2

3 Referral Endorser Main Navigation Manage My Services: If the Referral Endorser has products and services with Windstream they will have a Manage My Services link and they will have access to their Windstream services. Manage My Customers: View detailed information about the agent s customers such as account details, network utilization, online ticketing. Windstream Info: Information related to Windstream such as educational series, the products we offer, privacy policy, events and more Contact Us- Link to Contact Information, Escalation Lists and windstreambusiness.com Manage My Account Commission Reports Through WINDSTREAM Online our partners can access their commission reports. Here are the steps: 1. On the Main Navigation list, click on My Account and choose the My Commission Report sub menu. 2. Choose the report type Simple Summary provides the Sales ID, Name, Actual Monthly Revenue (AMR), AMR (adjusted) and commission which is totaled at the bottom. Detailed Summary provides the Sales ID, Name, Actual Monthly Revenue (AMR), AMR (adjusted), list of commission type paid, commission for each type is totaled at the bottom. Compressed Details provides each customer under each sales ID, commission type paid, Start Date, Sign Date, Term, EMR, AMR, PCT, Rate, Commission. Total for each customer and a grand total at the bottom of the report. Full Details Provides each customer under each sales ID, commission type paid, Start & Sign Date, Term, State, LATA, and Estimated Monthly Revenue (EMR). Additionally, it breaks down the products that are billing, the Actual Monthly Revenue (AMR), percentage, rate, commission paid. Total for each customer and a grand total at the bottom of the report. Excel Friendly Provides following information in a Excel format that is more easily downloaded: Sales ID, Customer Name, Sub ID, Sub Name, Term, Seller ID, Seller Name, Revenue Type, Rate Plan, Estimated Monthly Revenue (EMR), Actual Monthly Revenue (AMR), Percent, Rate, Commission, Invoice ID, Invoice date EMR vs. AMR Report lists the Sales ID, Sales Name, Customer ID, Customer name, Start & Sign Date, Term, EMR, AMR, % of EMR achieved. (NOTE: when you export this report, use the CSV format so the formatting exports correctly) West PIC Statement Provides PIC Commission report with totals of each commission type and the commission earned. Revenue - Lists each customer ID, Name and their total revenue that is eligible for commissions. All Rights Reserved Page 3

4 3. Once report type is selected the user may choose to filter the report. Filters vary based on report. The Filter categories are: Commission Type pull all types or filter down to a specific type Salesperson Type default is All but can be filtered to a type of salesperson Display select Requesting Salesperson and Rollups to ensure all salespersons and commissions will be pulled and not excluded. 4. Click on the View Report button at the bottom of the screen to pull the commission report. 5. A new window will open and the report will load there. (NOTE: You must not have pop-up blockers enabled on your browser or you will not receive the report) Pulling a Commission Report All Rights Reserved Page 4

5 Exporting a Report 6. There will be a navigation bar at the top of the window Click on the drop down window to select the desired format of the report. 7. Click Export Exporting Report Formatting Options Manage My Customer 1. Search for a customer under Manage My Customers 2. Select Customer Account Access 3. Click on the customer name and go into the Account All Rights Reserved Page 5

6 Manage My Customer Profile Much of the information specific to the customer can be located under the Profile link Manage My Customer- Account Information Pricing and Billing information can be located under the Account information selection. 7 Network Utilization, Online Ticketing, and WINDSTREAM Info Menus There are additional options to emulate the Referral Endorser access in WINDSTREAM Online. They are Network Utilization, Online Ticketing and Windstream Information. Here is a snapshot of each. Network Utilization Online Ticketing PAETEC Info My Shortcuts The My Shortcuts is a customizable list of shortcuts to the customer s favorite or most frequently viewed areas. Each customer s menu can be different. Logging Out The Home>>Logout>> link found on the top right hand-side of the screen will allow the user to go back to the home page or logoff as the emulated user and end the emulation process.
