3 Purpose The purpose of this manual is to instruct users on how to: log on to the system access the various building meters read electrical demand and consumption Logging In Step 1: Open up your web browser and go to Step 2: Type in your login name and password and click.

The Default Graph can be set by selecting the Default Settings button, and selecting one of the meters from the list. Note: Only one (1) meter may be selected to be the default graph.

4 Default Graph Once you have logged on, the first page displayed is your Default Graph. This Default Graph is a demand profile of any meter you have selected as your default meter. The system default is Today s Demand profile. This demand data is displayed in Real Time and updates every 15 minutes. The Default Graph can be set by selecting the Default Settings button, and selecting one of the meters from the list. Note: Only one (1) meter may be selected to be the default graph. Also, you can select which type of profile you wish to have as your Default Graph by selecting one of the four (4) profile types from the Your Default Chart menu. Once you have selected your default settings, click Save and Return to save the changes.

On the bottom of the graph is the total consumption in kilowatt hours (KWH) that you have consumed for today in real time.

6 Yesterdays Demand & 1 Week Demand Select Yesterdays Demand to show yesterdays profile in KW and yesterdays total power consumption in KWH. Select 1 Week Demand to show the last 7 days profile in KW and the last 7 days total power consumption in KWH.

7 1 Week Comparison Select 1 Week Comparison to display 2 graphs that compare the last 7 days profiles and consumption value against the previous 7 days. The overall power consumption in kilowatt hours is shown on the bottom of the graphs.

8 Create Your Own Graph Select Create Your Own Graph to display specific dates and meters. This allows the user to graph any meter within their portfolio over any period of time. 1. Select the meter (or meters) that are available to you in the left window, click the arrow right button to move the meters into the selected box. Any meter you do not wish to graph simply click the arrow left button to move the meter back into the available meters box. You are allowed up to 10 meters to be graphed at the same time however too many meters on the same graph will tend to look cluttered. 2. Select the period or date range that you wish to graph. Please note that the default time is 12:00am. This can be changed to whatever time you wish. As an example if you created a graph from May 1 st, 2010 to May 8 th, 2010 the graph would include all of the data from May 1 st, 2010 to May 8 th however since the default time is 12:00am it would NOT include any of the data for May 8 th.

9 3. Click the Show Graph to display the graphs. The Show Graph button will change to Processing while it is building the graphs. Once the Processing has changed back to Show Graph, the graph is complete and is now displayed. Please note that the longer the time period and the total number of meters selected all have a bearing on how much time it takes to build the graph. To create another graph, simply click on the CREATE YOUR OWN GRAPH button. Create Your Own Graph (Page layout) There are 4 boxes that can be checked off while create your own graph. Show the raw data with the report Aggregate selected meters Stack selected meters Interpolate meter readings Show the raw data: This will display below the graph (in a table form) the time, date and value of the demand in kilowatts of the meters. Aggregate selected meters: This will totalize all of the selected meters. It will still display all of the individual meters but will display an additional total graph and consumption total.

10 Stack selected meters This allows the user to stack or separate out displays when attempting to graph multiple meters with similar profiles. Interpolate meter readings This allows the graphing software to estimate missed readings. Create Your Own Graph (Page layout) Interval Comparison This allows the user to graph and compare a single meter within 2 different time periods. The 3 pre-defined time periods or intervals are Daily, Weekly and Monthly. This is extremely helpful when comparing a before and after energy saving initiatives. Selected meters to be subtracted This allows the user to subtract any given meter (or meters) from the selected meters.
