2 Introduction: Microsoft Dynamics CRM uses the word "entity" to refer to the structures used to store and manage data. Conceptually, entities are often compared to a table in a database because entities correspond to the types of records Microsoft Dynamics CRM manages. However, entities include much more than a database table. An entity includes definitions of the forms, views, relationships and behavior of Microsoft Dynamics CRM related to a specific record type. Synchronization refers to one of two distinct but related concepts: synchronization of processes, and synchronization of data i.e. refers to the idea of keeping multiple copies of a dataset in coherence with one another, or to maintain data integrity. If we combine the terms Entity and Synchronization i.e. Entity Synchronization means synchronization of an entity or to create a copy of an entity. Auto Synchronizer Application is developed for entity synchronization between different Microsoft CRM Organizations. Auto Synchronizer is designed to copy or update an entity and its components from one CRM Organization to another CRM Organization. The entities components handle in this application are: Entity Relationships Entity Attributes Entity Views Entity Forms With this Application we can create/update the entity and its components from the source organization to our target organization or we can say it works similar as 'Solution' works in CRM. Features: Easy to setup and installation. Satisfies your unique business requirements. Creates a new entity with its components from one organization to other organization. Before creating an entity it checks the relationship of that entity, if the related entity doesn't exist then it will ask you to create the related entity first. Updates the entity and its components like relationships, attributes, views and forms. Its works similar to Solution. 2

3 How to use Auto Synchronizer: To run and use Auto Synchronizer, follow these steps: Step: 1 Run the Auto Synchronizer Application. In the Source Server Login Page, fill the source organization details as shown in Figure1. For Online: Server URL and Port: crm5.dynamics.com Username: vikramkr@live.com Password: ******* For On-premise: Server URL and Port: localhost: 5437 Username: ABDFRE/Administrator Password: ******* If you access On-premise remotely, then pass the IP address of server in place of localhost. Server URL and Port: :5437 Username: ABDFRE/Administrator Password: ******* For IFD: Server URL and Port: The web address that your site uses to connect to MS Dynamics CRM. Username: The Microsoft CRM Dynamics User ID (from your IFD host). Password: The Microsoft CRM Dynamics Password (from your IFD host). Note: This sample is for Online CRM connection. The same steps to be followed for On-premise and IFD. 3

If the entity has a relationship with an entity (suppose with entity XYZ) which is not present in the target organization then it throw a message Test001 entity has a relationship with XYZ entity. You first have to run this utility for the related entity. So, you have to run this application first for entity XYZ. If above step doesn't occur then it will show the message Successfully Completed. Click OK. 8
