4 HOW TO USE THIS MANUAL 4 This manual contains information for the correct use of the A.Celli logo. For the reproduction of the logo, please use the digital formats that can be downloaded from the appropriate download sections in the online version of this manual. You can also download some useful documents for business communication, such as letterhead and templates for slideshows. For any application of the logo which is not defined in this manual, please contact the A.Celli marketing department.

6 HISTORICAL REFERENCES Alvaro Celli 6 70 YEARS OF PROGRESS In 2014 it s 70 years since Alvaro Celli opened his first machine shop, and the A.Celli Group has now decided to upgrade the institutional logo to highlight the new strategic direction. The first official logo design dates back to In 2003 A.Celli decided to drop the extension mechanical industries and to replace it with paper and nonwovens, thus giving the new divisions an individual image that still retains the family feeling The 2014 update is by no means aimed at lessening the strength of the two companies that today represent the Group on the market. Instead, it seeks to underscore their capabilities, their complementary nature, the possibility of exploiting collaboration between the two worlds to the fullest, intersecting technologies and business. With this new identity, not only is A.Celli communicating the force of its history and experience, but also the flexibility and dynamism that have characterized its business approach in the last few years. Qualities that have become concrete in the ability to exploit the synergies between Paper and Nonwovens.

7 DESCRIPTION AND CONTEXT RENewiNG the tradition The A.Celli logo is the expression of a strong link with the history of the group. 7 The restyling of 2014 renews the logo without affecting its identity and set of values, synthesizing forms and acting on the colors with simplicity and originality at the same time. A.Celli has chosen the colour blue, synonymous of experience, that in all its nuances is closely tied to wisdom and serenity. The colour of uniforms, sign of authority, blue is also the historic colour of workers, pillar of strength of every company. And also a colour that in communication transmits trust, truth and security. The new logo is a perfect balance between innovation and tradition, modernity and history, proven values together with a new approach to technology and to the markets. For this reason, there is the dot on the i! A detail in red, stimulating color, sign of strength, passion, courage, zeal and enthusiasm, qualities that represent the attitude of A.Celli. brand book

These can be reproduced with the indicated RGB and CMYK specifications, or by spot colour printing (PANTONE). This page lists the percentages in CMYK, Pantone references and RGB codes for the web and video.

9 COLOUR REPRODUCtiON As far as possible, for communications, the logo must be used in its colour version on a white background. The logo in its colour version is reproduced only in positive. The use of colours is allowed for a grey background up to 15%. For any other application, please use the logo in the negative form. white black max. 15% NEGAtiVE FORM To be used on a black background, or on a grey background of more than 70%. 10 ERRORS TO BE AVOIDED YES NO 10 The preferred use of the logo for communications is the version on a white background. It is not allowed to use the A.Celli logo on coloured backgrounds, with the exception of special cases to be evaluated from time to time. For backgrounds of over 70% grey, use the white negative form.

11 readability of the logo PROTECtiON SPACE The general rule is to leave a border of white space around the logo that is 1/2 of its height. In this area there should be no type nor other graphic elements mm MINIMUM SIZE The logo can be reproduced with a minimum width of 17.5 mm. 12 ERRORS TO BE AVOIDED This page shows examples of unacceptable logo use. 12 DO NOT Use the logo or parts of it in outline mode. Warp, flip or rotate the logo, changing its aspect ratio. Change the institutional colour palette. Use the logo in a frame. Add drop shadow to the logo.

For example, the typeface used in this document is: Title> Helvetica Bold 14 pt, 16 pt leading Subtitle> Helvetica Bold 11 pt, 90% vertical scale, 14 pt leading Paragraph> Helvetica Light 11 pt, 90% vertical scale, 14 pt leading ALTERNAtiVE FONtS In the event that the Helvetica font is not available, it can be replaced with the Arial font (Windows operative system).

15 STYLE REFERENCES HOW TO WRitE A.CELLI The name A.Celli has a dot after the A, no space between the dot and the C, and in normal version the A and the C are always capitalized. Electronic signature RTF HOW TO SHORTEN A.CELLI In business texts, the correct practice is to write, when mentioned first, the name of the company in question in its full form, for example A.Celli Paper s.p.a. In order to improve the style and readability of the document, the form can be shortened in subsequent mentions, by only repeating the name A.Celli. MULtiLINGUAL RULES The first A.Celli language is British English. In documents with multiple languages, the texts in English are positioned on the left or on top of other languages. brand book
