2 ments for Sage VIP outsourcing Setting up VIP for export of Sage file Sage allows you to transfer your salary payments directly to South African bank accounts. 99 This needs to be setup for EACH COMPANY with an ACB export sent to Sage. 99 The Sage Account Number and Service Keys differ for each Sage client. 99 These details are available from the respective Sage account manager who deals with the VIP Outsourcing clients account at Sage. 1. In VIP, click on Interfaces > Export Control > ACB. 2. Select Sage from the drop down menu and click close. 3. Insert the following for the client that you are configuring: Sage account Number Salary payments service key Credit data (Risk reports) service key 4. Click Close. 2

In VIP, click on Interfaces > Export data > ACB roll Data. 2. Now follow your standard process to export the ACB file. Wait for the system dialogue to confirm that the file was sent to the client s Sage account and then click OK. Sage will (as long as your address is loaded with the service key) a load report to you detailing accepted and rejected transactions. By default, the batch will not load unless all transactions are accepted. Should any of the transactions fail, please rectify the errors and upload payment file again. Notes: Should the client require that Sage accepts only the transactions that passed upload validation and ignore the errors, this can be arranged with the Sage account manager. If the load reports displays successful then you may contact your client to advise them that salaries are loaded on Sage and are ready for authorization. 3

4 ments for Sage VIP outsourcing How to authorise a salary batch 1. Select Services. 2. Click on ments on the dropdown menu. 3. Select Salaries > Manage salary batches. The list of salary batches will be displayed. 4. Select the Authorise button next to the batch that you would like to process. 5. The confirm batch authorisation screen is displayed. This is a summary of the salary batch including charges, notifications and a choice of funding options: against available balance if there is sufficient credit in your Sage account. Transfer funds if you need to fund the Sage clearing account for payment. 6. Read and accept the terms and conditions, then select Authorise. Notes: Batches can be unauthorised until 13h00 on the date they are to be processed on the Same day service and by 13h00 one business day before the payments day for the Dated payment service. Please refer to more detail regarding the cutoff times on page 3. 4

Should you select to pay using the Available balance option you will then be re-directed to the Confirm batch authorisations screen. 2. Insert the One Time Pin (OTP) sent to your cell number. 3. Click OK. 4. Your Salary Batch is now authorised and will be scheduled to run on the selected date. 5. If you require additional authorisers, the batch will be awaiting further authorisation - please inform the additional authorisers of this. 6. If you are paying using the Transfer funds option, you will be prompted to insert the following information: The date when the transfer will be made. The Sage account you will be transferring to. The amount to be transferred. The extra fields are optional for reconciliation purposes. Select Next. 7. Click on Print report in order to obtain details of the Sage clearing that you need to fund. Please ensure your transfer has the correct reference. 8. Click Authorise to confirm your bank transfer. 9. Insert the One Time Pin (OTP) sent to your cell number. 10. Your Salary Batch is now authorised and will be scheduled to run on the selected date. 11. If you require additional authorisers, the batch will be awaiting further authorisation - please inform the additional authorisers of this. Notes: One Time Pins are session based, this means that as long as you are logged in into your Sage account, you can use the same OTP to authorise. Where multiple authorisations are required, only the first authoriser needs to insert the OTP. 5

6 ments for Sage VIP outsourcing How to download your post batch processing report 1. Select Services. 2. Click on ments from the dropdown menu. 3. Click on Salaries > Salary batch reports. 4. Click on the Printer icon on the left of the batch. 5. Click on the Export icon and select you preferred format to download your report. 6.
