Cargo esolutions is a smart way to trade cargo business with us. Our etraded Cargo policy is specifically designed to meet the needs of UK based SME businesses that import and/or export goods and materials worldwide. Cargo esolutions provides an annual cover for all such sendings, keeping your clients businesses moving should their cargo be damaged or lost while in transit. This user guide will show you how to access RSA Online and obtain your first Cargo esolutions quotation. 1

2 ONE RSA ONLINE Go to and click on the RSA Online button. 2

3 TWO SIGN IN You will be redirected to the RSA Online Sign In screen as shown. If you already use RSA Online for other products, you can sign in using the address and password that you have previously used and click the Log on button. If you are new to RSA Online, you need to register for access. Details on how to do this are on the left-hand side of the screen. Forgotten your password? Click the Forgotten Password link and you will receive a new temporary password by . 3

4 THREE CREATE CLIENT You will have a list of all your current RSA Online business. If you are new to RSA Online, then there won t be a list of clients, but hopefully this will change very quickly. To get a new quotation, click Create Client and you will then be presented with the first data capture screen as shown. Complete the mandatory fields (and other fields as you wish) and click Next. 4

5 FOUR CHOOSE A PRODUCT The next screen presents you with a list of all the products available to you at RSA Online. Click any of the PDF icons and you will open a summary/key benefits document to help you determine if the product is right for your client. Marine products are listed under Specialist Products : Cargo esolutions Transit esolutions Haulage esolutions. Click Cargo esolutions. 5

6 Then complete the general details in the relevant fields. For Cover Required click on the drop-down list. At this point you have three options for cargo cover: Annual the most common, providing 12 months cover for worldwide sendings Facultative when your clients only require cover for infrequent one-off sendings UK Own Goods for cargo being moved solely within the UK, this option provides cover under the Transit esolutions policy. Once you have selected the cover required, you will then be asked to insert the cover start date and then answer a question regarding the countries listed on the screen. Then click Save & Continue. All the information you have entered thus far will be saved. You can log out and return to this at any time to continue. 6

7 FIVE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA The next screen details the eligibility criteria that a risk needs to meet to ensure that an online product is suitable. If you click I Agree, then you can progress to obtain an online quotation. If the risk you are handling does not fit any of the criteria, select Disagree. This simply means that the risk is not able to be transacted online. More often than not, a call to RSA Marine will mean that you can still get terms from RSA offline. 7

8 You then have three Risk Detail screens to complete. The three screens are shown here. As with all our online products, should you need any assistance or further guidance, we fully support these products with a dedicated team of underwriters who can guide you through the screens or assist you with any offline quotations. 8

9 SIX CLAIMS HISTORY If the risk you are handling has had claims or losses, then you will be given the opportunity to provide claims/loss details as shown. Click Next and you will have a quotation in seconds. 9

10 SEVEN QUOTE SUMMARY The Quote Summary page replays all the detail you have provided and also includes a Quote Schedule, Policy Wording and a Statement of Fact. Again you can choose to Save this quote for later or Buy the cover. 10

11 EIGHT POLICY DOCUMENTS If you buy the cover, you will move to a page that will look like this, with a Policy Schedule accompanied by the Statement of Fact and Policy Wording in PDF format. The policy documents will be forwarded to you by too, so they can be passed to your client with ease. 11

12 CARGO esolutions NINE PREMIUM At the end of the month, all policies that you have placed with RSA via RSA Online will be processed under one master policy. You will be advised of the master policy number and this will be used to process all future RSA Online marine policies you place with us.
