1 1 How to Customize your Newsletter Through the LC Connection Portal

2 1 Portal Login: Your Username is your Dealer # If you do not remember your password, simply click on the link for instructions on how to reset it

3 12 Home Screen: Click on the tabs in the toolbar across the top Subscribers, Contents, Newsletter, and Warm Call Report to navigate the portal (the following pages provide screenshots of each tab)

4 13 The Subscribers tab allows you to view a list of current subscribers to your newsletter. Subscriber Status Active: subscribers that are currently receiving your newsletter Removed: subscribers that have been deleted from your mailing list Bad Addresses: subscriber records that were entered incorrectly Opted Out: subscribers that clicked on the opt-out link on your newsletter in order to be removed from the mailing list Subscriber records may be edited by clicking on the pencil and/or deleted by clicking on the red minus sign. To add new subscribers, enter the information into D.A.T.A.

5 14 ENTER CUSTOM MESSAGE HERE UPLOAD CUSTOM IMAGE HERE The default message and image will be used if you choose not to customize your newsletter. SELECT WHETHER TO USE CUSTOM MESSAGE UNTIL A SPECIFIED DATE OR ALWAYS

8 17 Adding New Subscribers to Your LC Connection Newsletter through DATA To add new subscribers to your LC Connection Electronic Newsletter, enter the address and customer information into DATA Click on the Dinners tab or the Host/Owners tab to add a new customer The following screen will appear:

9 18 Adding New Subscribers to Your LC Connection Newsletter through DATA Within the LC Connection field, select the language for each customer entered into the system. By selecting None, the customer will not receive the newsletter Once you select the correct language and save the field, the customer s address and information will be included in the distribution list for the following month s newsletter. Any bad address that is corrected through the LC Connection portal must also be corrected in DATA. If the address is not corrected within DATA, it will continue to be included in the distribution list each month and as a bad in your monthly report. Any bad address that is deleted from the mailing list through the LC Connection portal must also be updated in DATA. Select None in the LC Connection field for this customer; this will remove their address from the monthly distribution list without having to remove the customer s information from DATA
