1 To register for the 2017 UAW-GM Health and Safety Conference you must have a User ID and Password issued by the UAW-GM Center for Human Resources Health and Safety. You should have received correspondence with this information (see below). If you did not receive a notification or for more assistance call (313) otherwise send to: safetyfirst@uaw-gm.org 2017 Health & Safety Conference Registration Instructions Your Name The following is your temporary User ID and Password. These are required to register online for the 2017 UAW-GM Joint Health and Safety Training Conference. Once you have registered for the conference, a permanent User ID will be issued to you. Please use your permanent User ID for all online conference registration purposes. Your conference ID and Password may only be used to access the 2017 UAW-GM Joint Training Conference Registration system, and will not take the place of your UAW-GM JAS ID and Password. You may change your password at any time. Temporary User ID and Password are the temporary logon ID and password issued to you by the CHR. Temporary User ID: 1111namy Password:
2 To Register for the Conference Go to the registration home page at: To register for the H&S conference click the View by Category icon. To get a list Locations with maps, guides, directions, etc. click the View Locations icon. To get a list of all conference events click on the Print A Catalog icon. IMPORTANT: Do not use any of these links until you have first completed your registration using the instructions starting on page 3. IMPORTANT: TURN OFF ALL POP-UP BLOCKERS IN YOUR INTERNET BROWSER TO ALLOW FOR VIEWING OF SYSTEM MESSAGES. To get instructions, maps, guides, directions, etc. click on this link. To make Flight reservations click on this link. 2
3 After clicking the View By Category icon. Select the conference name from the available categories list. UAW-GM Health & Safety Conference 2017 Afterward click the Go! button. Click on the conference week. UAW-GM Health and Safety June 04-09, 2017 Please allow a few moments for this page to load. 3
4 The checkbox for June 05, Day 1 Opening Day General Session is already marked. You will be forced to register for this mandatory session. 1.) Click the checkbox of a specific conference day you want to register on. All attendees must attend two Mandatory Concurrent Sessions CC & CC
5 2.) When clicking the check box of a specific conference day (i.e. June 07, 2017 Day 3 Mandatory/General Sessions) a concurrent sessions list will be displayed. 3.) Click on the checkbox of the session(s) you would like to enroll in. 4.) Be sure to choose sessions where the date and time do not conflict with sessions you have already registered for. 5.) Once you have selected all your concurrent sessions click the Continue button to complete your registration. Please wait a few moments while the registration login page is loaded. 5
6 1.) Enter the temporary User ID that was issued to you (e.g. 1111namy). 2.) Enter the Password that was issued to you (e.g ). 3.) After entering your (temporary) User Id & Password click the Register for Conference button 5.) Click the Submit button. 4.) Enter the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number (0000 is your last 4 digits). These numbers will be included in your new user id. 6
7 1.) Enter all Required Fields Your permanent User ID is: namy0000 (0000 is the last 4 digits of your SSN#). Your Password has not changed. You may change your password at any time. Please refer to your permanent User ID for all future online registration purposes. 2.) You must select Driving or Flying. 3.) Enter your Years of Service in H&S 4.) Enter your Mail Code (where applicable) IMPORTANT: If you do not click the Submit Registration button your session(s) will not be saved! 5.) Review your user profile and make changes where necessary. Be sure to complete all Required fields, then click the Submit Registration button when finished. 7
8 CONFIRMATION SAMPLE Select one of the following to: View your transcript Change your Password Change your personal info Modify / Unregister From Events IMPORTANT: Using your internet browser print function, please print this page for your records and bring it to the conference to use as your schedule. If you have supplied an address in your user profile a confirmation will be sent to you as well. 8
9 Unregister from Session(s) or Register for New Session(s) To unregister from sessions or register for new sessions perform the following steps. Go to the registration home page at: 1.) Click the Logon link. 2.) Enter your permanent User ID that was issued to you (e.g. namy0000). 4.) After entering your permanent User Id & Password click the Logon button. 3.) Enter your Password 9
10 10 5.) Click the Modify/Unregister From Events link to unregister from or add sessions.
11 6.) Click the UAW-GM Health and Safety Conference link. 11
12 To unregister from ALL sessions click the Unregister From Event button. Click the Modify Event Registration button to unregister or register for one or more sessions & see pg. 13. To return to the Transcript page click the Cancel/Return To Transcript button. 12
13 To register and/or unregister from one or more sessions use the following directions. (Continue Button) Afterward the registration form will appear. IMPORTANT! When unchecking a checkbox a message will appear asking if you want to unregister from the session. Clicking the OK button on the message will unregister the unchecked session. Clicking on checkboxes will select session(s) for registration. After all are selected click the Continue button. IMPORTANT: Once you have selected the new session(s) you would like to register for click the Continue button to update your registration. Please wait a few moments while the registration page is loaded. See page 7 step 5 on how to save your changes and receive a confirmation. 13
