5 From publishing.aip.org/librarians: Publications and Impact Factors Go to Publications at the top of the page, then click on Browse Journals to view a complete list of publications offered by AIP Publishing including: ISSN & EISSN #, latest impact factor, and publishing frequency. Licensing Go to Resources >> Librarians and find Licensing on the menu options to the left to learn how you can obtain access to publications available through AIP Publishing. Learn about Access and Entitlements or how to Start a Subscription. Open Access Policy Read about our Open Access Policy and our commitment to providing access to scholarly research and content under the Open Science at AIP Publishing menu option, located under Licensing Options and Policies. Products To download the latest pricing grid, click on the Products link located on the menu options to the left and then click on the Pricing Information icon. Information on KBART files, journal subscriptions, AIP Conference Proceedings, Digital Archives, and AIP Author Services can also be located in the Products page. 3

6 Creating a Profile and Setting Up Administration Rights scitation.org/action/registration From the Scitation.org platform, administrators can easily access content and manage account settings. After registering and verifying your account (see below), Administrators can manage their account by creating a profile on Once your profile is created, log on to: n Manage IP ranges n View licensed content n Manage administrator access to the account n Access usage reports n View KBART Holdings, and set up Link Resolver and Shibboleth Existing AIP Publishing Customer (Adding a new Administrator) n Additional administrators can be added from the manage administrators section within the admin portal. (see page 7) n Existing customers looking to update the administrator, will need to first create a profile for the new admin on Scitation, if the individual does not already have a profile. Create a profile by visiting: Once your profile is created, please contact our Support Team at help@scitation.org to assist with granting administrative rights. 4

7 New Customer at AIP Publishing n If you do not have an account on Scitation, please register at: n Once you have a profile established on Scitation, sign in to your account. Then take a moment and check your inbox for an similar to the one below: n Click the link found in the you received to be directed to the page shown here: n After you agree to the terms, enter the activation code and click the Activate button. n Once the Activate button is clicked, you ll be re-directed to the profile section on Scitation and you can begin managing your account 5

8 Profile and Account Management Once your profile is created, we recommend that you update your personal details. From this page you can view a list of licensed content, access usage reports, view IP ranges, update your co-branding so your users know that their institution is providing access, and more! Licensed Content View the list of publications to which you have access. Usage Reports Access, view, and download COUNTER compliant usage reports. You can customize the report date range you d like to export, and select the exportable format. Below you will find a list of the report options available. Rest assured that usage statistics released prior to January 2019 will remain available on-line within the COUNTER 4 standard until it is upgraded to meet COUNTER 5. 6

You can also edit, remove, or delete and existing IP address. Manage Administrators As an account administrator, you can add or remove administrators on your account. From this screen, you can also designate who should receive any recommendations that are submitted for your institution. When the recommendation form is completed, this address will automatically populate. Recommend to your librarian Example Information will be autopopulated as long as the recommendation is coming from within the account s IP range and information is provided on the admin page 7

10 Co-branding Ensure users know that their access is being provided by their institution/company. Shibboleth, Link Resolver, KBART n Shibboleth - federated identity solutions, connecting users to content both within and between publishers n Link Resolver increasing discoverability of full-text collections through openurl syntax n KBART for a complete KBART list, download the.txt file and open it in.xls format.
