2 Download the App To download the HaloHome app, follow these steps: 1. Go to the App Store or Google Play Store. 2. Search HALO Home and download the app. Halo Home HALO Home User Account (app) Create User Account To create your new HALO Home account, please make sure you ve downloaded the app then follow these steps. 1. Open the HALO Home App 2. Tap Register on the home screen Halo Home 2

3 3. Enter a valid , create a password and provide a first and last name 4. Tap Register to create your HALO Home account. 5. You must verify this by following the link that you should now have received. Sometimes these verification s end up in spam folders so be sure to double check there. If you do not automatically receive a verification after changing the associated with your account you can press the Resend Verification in order to send it again to the new address. 4 Edit User Account The HALO Home Web App is a convenient place for users to manage and edit their account settings. 1. Browse to 2. Sign in with your HALO Home account credentials 3. Using the Profile screen you are able to edit the first and last name along with the phone number associated with the account. You may also change the on the account as well as your password. Simply enter your new information and select Update Profile or Update Password. 4. To log out of your profile press the Log Out button in the lower left hand corner. 5 Logging In and Out of Your HALO Home Account To Login to your HALO Home Account, please make sure you have the valid address and password you used to create the account. NOTE: Once you sign in for the first time, it is not necessary to log in again each time you use the application, even if it is closed and re-opened. To preserve your login, refrain from logging out of the app (using the log out button) unless you want to change HALO Home accounts. 1. From the home screen, tap Login. 2. Enter your valid and password, then tap Login. 3. To Logout, tap the three horizontal lines in the upper left hand corner of your Dashboard. 4. Then tap the Logout option located in the bottom left corner. 5

6 Password In order to reset your password, you need take the following steps. Change Password 1. Be near your HALO Home compatible devices so that the phone can form a bridge to your devices (that means that if the devices are at home, you need to be at home) 2. Make sure that your devices are powered. 3. Logout of the app on your phone or tablet. 4. Launch the app and press the Forgot Password button. 5. Immediately, check your , click the link, and change your password. 6. Login to the app using your new password. Link expired? For your security, we have a time limit on the link. Start over at the beginning. Make sure to wait long enough for the fresh to land in your inbox. Using an old will give you the expired message again. 6

7 Reset Password To reset the password for your HALO Home account, click or go to 1. For security reasons, the link in this is only valid for a short time. If it expires, just request another by tapping Forgot Password on the app or going to: eaton.com/forgot 2. If you have multiple password reset s, be sure you click the link in the most recent . Older links will have expired. Some programs make it a bit difficult to tell at a glance which is the most recent, so check the date/time carefully. 3. 8 HALO Home Web App You can do a number of useful things and view your account details on your personal account web page. 1. Browse to 2. Sign in with your HALO Home account credentials From this page, you can do the following: View the status of your devices, schedules and groups If you have an Internet Access Bridge, you can turn on and off your devices remotely from the web You can also view and update your key account information including: Address Password Name Phone Number Update subscription preferences Resend account verification Once you log in, you will be able to view the devices and groups that are linked to your account. ou will also be able to see device/group schedules that have been previously created. 8

9 3. Click the Complete Details button located on the right side of each device tab will allow you to view additional information such as the schedule timing and days of the week. 4. Click on the Profile icon on the left side of your screen in order to access and/or change your profiles information 5. Using the Profile screen you are able to edit the first and last name along with the phone number associated with the account. You may also change the on the account as well as your password. Simply enter your new information and select Update Profile or Update Password. 9

10 Update address If you have changed your address or wish to move your account to another account owner, you can change the address of your HALO Home account by doing the following: 1. Browse to 2. Sign in with your HALO Home account credentials 3. Go to the profile page and enter a new valid address. You can also update your password and other information. Note: This will permanently change the account owner of the HALO Home system. Please be sure that this is what you intend. Make a note of the new address.
