HOW TO BUY TICKETS FOR THE HPP FIREWORKS 2018 EVENT

1 STEP 1: CLICK ON THE LINK: This will take you to the PTA Events home page. TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT FIREWORKS 2018 Click on the Fireworks image. The screen will refresh. You will need to scroll down to learn more about opening times, catering and the location of the event. Page 1 of 8

2 STEP 2: CLICK ON FIREWORKS 2018 STEP 3: SELECT THE TYPE AND NUMBER OF TICKETS There are THREE (3) types of tickets available for the event: Adult - 6 Child (4 years +) - 5 Infant (3 years and under) - Free Select the number of tickets you require and then click on update basket. Page 2 of 8

3 STEP 4: CHECKOUT Once you have selected the number of tickets you require and updated the basket, the screen will refresh and a checkout option (green button) will appear. Once you have clicked on the green checkout button, a message will appear at the top of the screen asking you to login or register (as shown below): The site gives you the option to pay a voluntary booking fee of 1.4% + 20p per transaction. This covers the cost of PayPal (PayPal provides additional security for payments and will process the payment through to the Friends bank account). If you would like to remove this, please click on remove. Page 3 of 8

4 STEP 5: REGISTER TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT If you are new to PTA Events, you will need to set up an account to be able to purchase tickets. To do this, you need to click on the register option (top right hand corner of the screen). If you have already used PTA Events to buy tickets for another event and set up an account, you will need to login with your username and password. Once you have clicked on the register option, you will need to complete the form to set up your PTA Events account. Page 4 of 8

5 At the bottom of the form you will have the of option to opt out further communications from the Friends of Hampton Junior School. Please note: If you opt out this will mean that you will not receive any further information about the events the group will run over the year and may miss out on the opportunity to purchase tickets. STEP 6: COMPLETE YOUR TICKET PURCHASE Now that you have registered with PTA Events, the site will return you to the home screen where you should see a message thanking you for registering and confirming the address you have chosen to use. PTA-Events will send an confirming that you have registered and set up an account on the system. Please check your junk folder if it does not appear in your inbox. Page 5 of 8

6 To complete your purchase, click on the green checkout button. PTA-Events will now take you to a screen where you can see a summary of your purchase. Please note, the site gives you 20 minutes to complete the transaction and make payment. If the ticket request is not completed within this time, the tickets will be released for general purchase. STEP 7: PAYMENT OPTIONS To pay for your ticket, tick the terms and conditions box and then click on the Paypal Checkout Button. Here you will have the choice to either use PayPal Checkout to process your payment or make a payment using a major debit or credit card. If you are: using PayPal Checkout you will need to login to your PayPal account to make payment. paying using a major debit or credit card, you will need to enter your card details to complete the payment. 7 STEP 8: TICKET CONFIRMATION You will receive a ticket confirmation from friendsofhamptonjuniorschool@pta-events.co.uk and a payment confirmation from PayPal. NB. You should have already received an from PTA-Events confirming that you have registered with the site and set up an account. If you cannot see the from PTA-Events and/or PayPal in your inbox, please check your junk folder. The from PTA-Events will contain further information about the event and a PDF file containing the tickets. Fireworks 2018 (Friday 02 November 2018) Page 7 of 8

8 STEP 9: PRINT YOUR TICKETS AND BRING THEM TO THE EVENT You will need to print your tickets sent in the PTA events and bring these along to the event to gain entry.
