7 How do I get onto my home wireless? Once you have a Wi-Fi network available, use these steps to tell your Mac to join it: 1. Click the Wi-Fi menu icon and select your Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks. 2. If prompted, enter the password for your Wi-Fi network. 3. Check "Remember this network" to have your Mac automatically join your home network. Connect at home Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) may be the same as your cable TV company or your phone company. It may also be a different company that offers Internet services, usually for a monthly fee. Your ISP may offer wired Internet access, using an Ethernet cable that connects to your computer or a network router/modem. Or, it may offer Wi-Fi (wireless) Internet access through its own hardware. If you're not sure if your Internet connection is wired or wireless, check with your ISP.
