Our prime aim is to enhance the employability of students. We endeavor is to provide a rewarding experience for the students so that they can meet the challenges and demands of the corporate world and society through successful careers. As we have embarked on our journey we seek the active association of the corporate world to partner with us for the various opportunities. Our dream is that GHRAET should play a definitive role in shaping the careers of tomorrow s leaders and develop individuals who can impact global development. We wish to provide to the nation good quality trained human resources having inquisitive minds and persistence to change their own and organization's lives and contribute for Nation building. We wish a successful career to our graduates.

3 Learning is an ongoing process We at G H Raisoni Academy of Engineering & Technology believe in providing such learning environment & resources which can be useful in creating wonderful minds & engineers who can be the balance wheel of the society. The world, due to rapid advances in science & technology, is changing fast. Darwin s principal Survival of the Fittest suits the present era of technology. To be very well perfect and to embark on a journey of success-preparedness, foresight and strategy are needed. We are helping students to dream big and to achieve the same. Creating World Class Engineers today, for the complex world of tomorrow is the need of time. With a team of highly qualified & skillful teachers, well planned curriculum, modern infrastructure & facilities, well equipped laboratories, excellent library facility, I am confident that the institute will develop knowledgeable and skillful engineers. DR. VIVEK KAPUR Principal, GHRAET For Our Students Tomorrow, We take Action Today Welcome to Mechanical engineering at GHRAET. Our Pass-out students work in almost every technology-based industry: automotive, electric power, steel and materials, Software, robotics and manufacturing. Our goal for undergraduate students is to give them a high-quality engineering education that includes hands-on experience. Each of our faculty members is ready and willing to work in their research specialty with capable students on individual projects. We strive to ensure that all our undergraduate students have a strong education with teaming and leadership skills, involvement in student activities, and the practical background and internship experience. We believe that emphasizing these areas will make our students well qualified to take leadership roles in the future. All students are also expected to publish their research in relevant peer reviewed engineering journals. Whether you are a current or former student, a potential student, or a visitor, please feel free to contact or visit us. Again, welcome to the GHRAET. Dr. Achal S. Shahare HEAD OF DEPARTMENT Be Original, Be Raisoni According to the current scenario of engineering, technical education are required to organize at least one Skill development programme with our engineering courses which help our students to achieve their future goals & requirements from the technical society like industries etc. For achieving the goals of students Mechanical Engineering Department of G H Raisoni Academy of Engineering & Technology, started the Skill Development Programme for the students of all semester Mr. Nilesh C Kanojiya Dept. 4 Executive Summary Today s engineering graduates will solve tomorrow s problems in a world that is advancing faster and facing more critical challenges than ever before. This situation creates significant demand for engineering education to evolve in order to effectively prepare a diverse community of engineers for these challenges. Such concerns have led to reports that help orient the work of those committed to the success of engineering education. Research in engineering education is central to all of these visions. According to the current scenario of engineering, technical education are required to organize at least one skill development programme with their engineering courses which help our students to achieve their future goals & requirements from the technical society like industries etc. for achieving the goals, Mechanical Engineering Department of G H Raisoni Academy of Engineering & Technology, started the Skill Development Programme for the students of all semester. The programme has organized under the guidance of Dr. Vivek Kapur, Principal, Dr. Achal S Shahare, HOD and with the support Management & Global Education, RGI Shradha House, Nagpur. The Programme is Manage by Asst. Prof. Nilesh C Kanojiya, SDP Incharge from the Mechanical Engineering Department.

The Gondia Balaghat section of about 40 kilometers length is under gauge conversion. The division has an extensive NG network with route length of KM. The division is geographically spread over the state of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh over thirteen districts. It has 51 stations o n BG and 40 stations o n NG. Forty pairs of coaching trains o n BG and 20 pairs of train o n NG are run over the division. Nagpur division transports various commodities like Coal, steel, Food Grains, Sugar, POL, Salt, Cement, Manganese Ore, Bamboo cuts, Fertilizers etc. It serves various important industries like Koradih Thermal Power Station, Khaperkheda Thermal Power Station. MOIL, Western CoalFields Ltd, SunFlag Iron & Steel Co, SAIL, TISCO, Khandelwal Ferro Alloys etc. Geographically Nagpur known as ORANGE CITY OF INDIA, celebrated Tricentenaryyear in Bakht Buldand, the reigning prince of Deogarhinvited Hindu artificers and husbandmen to settle in the plain country and formed the city of Nagpur. Mechanical Engineering Department of GHRAET, Nagpur organizes Industrial Visit for the students of B.E 5th Semester at MIB, South East Central Railway, Motibagh, Nagpur, Maharashtra on 28th Sept It was organized with the intention of providing industrial exposure to students. The students was guided by the engineers of MIB central railway about Maintenance of Train wheels, Bio toilet in trains & its importance, Design of Bio toilet, Testing of human waste for bio toilet installation in trains, operation on 19th century lathe machine and many other important projects under Indian railways. We are very thankful to Mr. Ravindra Bhushan, Sr. Design Engineers, Indian Railway, for providing his valuable guidance to the students during their visit at MIB Workshop. The Visit was Arrange & coordinate by Asst. Prof. Nilesh C Kanojiya under the guidance of Dr. Vivek Kapur, Principal, Dr. Achal S. Shahare, HOD, of Mechanical Engineering Department.
