1 Annexure - I No.18133/ Date : Dear Sir, Consultancy Development Centre (CDC) proposes to procure Stationery items for office use on a regular basis. The various items required are given at Annexure 1. INSTRUCTIONS 1. Vendors shall submit the Quotation in a sealed envelope. The name of vendor shall be mentioned on the envelope. The quotation complete in all respects, duly signed by the Authorised Signatory, on each page, along with Office Seal, should reach this office latest by 30 th April, 2013 before 1500 Hrs. Tenders will be opened on 30 th April, 2013 at 4.00 P.M. in Consultancy Development Centre. No correspondence will be entertained regarding extension of closing date or delay in receipt. The quotation sent by fax/ telex/ shall not be considered. 2. Bids not received in the prescribed format and received after scheduled date of submission would be rejected straight away. 3. CDC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason. Other Conditions 1. Income tax deducted at source and such other taxes/ levies which are by law required to be deducted by the CDC will be deducted from the charges payable to the vendor. 2. The Vendor should Submit documentary evidence of and latest Sales Tax No., PAN No., ITCC. Contd/-

2 3 The rates quoted shall be valid for one year from the date of placement of order/award of contract. No increase will be considered in the rates during the period. 4. The quality of all the items supplied should be of superior quality/ standard and the items should be supplied within the prescribed time. 5. Prices may also be quoted for items of different makes. The make of the item and rate exclusive of taxes should be indicated clearly and separately in the quotation. In case no make is mentioned the quoted make must be a reputed one and must be clearly mentioned in the quotation. 6. Material is to be delivered at CDC premises at no extra cost % Payment will be made within 15 days of receipt of invoice and inspection and acceptance of the material by the Centre. 8. All payments shall be made by A/C Payee Cheque. 9. The Centre is not bound to accept the lowest quotation or any quotation or to assign any reason for rejecting any or all the quotations. 10. In case of untimely delivery or unsatisfactory job, penalty clause shall be applicable as decided by the competent authority of the Centre. 11. The Contract can be terminated with one week notice in case the quality of items supplied is not satisfactory. 12. The validity of quotation submitted shall be 45 days from due date of submission of quotation.
