Iridium data modem with SIM card Use to interface with GPS receiver and Iridium modem, and to originate test call to GPS station from second Iridium modem. See Documentation section for dialing instructions from an XP computer. Used to place test call to finished station to verify comms operation. See Communications section for part number. This modem should be configured with the "Base Modem" settings. If necessary to use it as a spare for the remote site, it must be reconfigured as a "Remote Modem".
