3 ATS Release Notes This document provides a brief explanation of what was fixed and implemented with this release of Advanced Title Search Release Date: February 13, 2015 Post-Installation Considerations On the day of the release, it is highly recommended that you delete Temporary Internet Files and History prior to logging into ATS. Deleting Temporary Internet Files and History (MS Article ID: ) The Temporary Internet Files (or cache) folder contains web page content that is stored on your hard disk for quick viewing. This cache permits Internet or MSN Explorer to download only the content that has changed since you last viewed a web page instead of downloading all the content for the page every time it is displayed. Administrators can customize Temporary Internet File settings to prevent modifications. Contact your System Administrator if you cannot access the Internet Options dialog box or the General tab. Using Internet Explorer Steps 1. With Internet Explorer open, click the Tools icon. 2. Select Internet Options. The Internet Properties dialog box displays. 3. On the General tab, locate Browsing history and click thedelete button. The Delete Browsing History dialog box displays. 4. Select Temporary Internet Files. 5. Select Delete. 6. When complete, click OK. Using Chrome If you are using Chrome to access ATS, complete the following steps to deleted Temporary Internet files and history, Steps 1. With Chrome open, click the Customize and Control Google Chrome drop-down list. 2. Choose History from the drop-down list. 3. Click Clear browsing data. 4. From the Clear browsing data pop-up, be sure to select the beginning of time, check Browsing history and Cached images and files. Click Clear browsing data to complete. 4 Using Firefox If you are using Firefox to access ATS, complete the following steps to delete Temporary Internet Files and History on the day of the release. Steps 1. With the Firefox browser open, click the drop-down menu, move your cursor over History and select Clear Recent History; or Click Tools from the toolbar and select Clear Recent History. 2. From the Time range to clear drop-down, select Everything. 3. Select only Browsing & Download History and Cache. 4. Click Clear Now. 5. When the items are cleared, close all Firefox browsers, then reopen Firefox. Note Be patient when performing this task, if the Temporary Internet Files folder contains a significant amount of web page content, then this process may take several minutes to complete. 5 Bookmarks and Shortcuts for ATS We want to take a minute to remind all ATS users that only should be used to access ATS. If you have any other bookmarks or shortcuts for ATS we ask that delete them from your bookmarks\shortcuts so that only the link above is used. If you need assistance in making sure you have the correct bookmark\shortcut for ATS please call Customer Care at (855) , (713) or at customercare@stewart.com. Note Logging into ATS via any other means besides will bypass the load balancer and could impact your ability to log into ATS, as well as the load for the ATS servers. Using only this link will ensure you are directed only to functioning servers as well as balance the number of users on each server. This will help to keep the server speeds functioning at optimal speeds. Advanced Title Search Release Notes February

6 Fixes The following items were corrected in Advanced Title Search 7.2.0: All Communities (SR 10797) Resolved issue with apostrophe on the Search page. If an owner name or subdivision name was received in ATS with an apostrophe in the name, (for example O Connor), there were issues when searching some parent sites. This issue has been resolved. (SR ) Resolved issue with Supporting Docs once TSR was created. (SR ) Resolved issue with Owner\Buyer names not being refreshed on Buyer side if product was refinance and name was changed\corrected on Owner side. Names now refresh once changed on Search page. FTS Community (SR ) Resolved issue with PI images in ATS. (SR ) Corrected issues with Lee County and other various county TR sites. TSS Community Implemented TN Williamson AO site. Corrected issue with Buyer names pulling in all document types. Revised to only LIEN (without UCC Tax Liens), COURT, MISC, and AFFIDAVIT. Added a new filter on crossreferences that will invalidate references if their source document is an AFFIDAVIT. Full revision for all SRC counties. ST CO Community (SR ) Resolved issues with SKLD run and TSR index ordering. (SR ) Resolved issues regarding base file generation, due to length of name. Rules are now in place and are as follows: agentid and agentfieid to max 50 characters in any Base File Template Edit (uploaded or brought by automatic) Messages will now be displayed to the user in order for them to resolve. Resolved issue with SKLD run sheet in ATS not showing all results. ST OH Community None ST IL Community None ST KC Community (SR ) Resolved issue with KS Johnson RO parent site timing out. Increased time out. (SR ) Resolved issue with MO Clay, Jackson, Platte YA - Quicktax site information is missing from ATS. (SR ) Deactivated PC search when product type is Builder Sale. (SR 10774) Implement DG (Data Trace) for Missouri counties. Advanced Title Search Release Notes February

7 Enhancements The following items were added to Advanced Title Search 7.2.0: All Communities Parent Site Searches - Patriots Search The Patriots site will now search for Foreign Sanction Evaders (FSE). TSRI - Legal Description The Legal Description can now also be opened in a separate window. Click the arrow to the right of Legal. This will open the Legal Description in a new window for editing. When complete, click the Submit button to save your work and close the window. Advanced Title Search Release Notes February

8 TSRI - Data Source Search Type - New Field - Buyer A new search type, Buyer, has been added for ease of review on the TSRI for anything added from Buyer name search. "by" has also been added to DS column in TSRI & TSRIE, while "by" and "!by" have been added to the Grouping Documents list. TSRI - Document Matching Resolved issue with documents that were saved to TSRI and had the subcategory changed being saved again to the TSRI if a parent site search was done manually. For example: Two documents were saved from automatic search as EASEMENT\Easement: one being Record ( ) , and the other Record( ) The subcategory was changed to Right Of Way on both. If you searched the parent site again for book\page , the document would show as not saved and would allow you to save again. With the changes that have been implemented this will no longer happen and the document will show as already saved. Advanced Title Search Release Notes February
