3 ATS Release Notes This document provides a brief explanation of what was fixed and implemented with this release of Advanced Title Search Release Date: February 12, 2016 Post-Installation Considerations On the day of the release, it is highly recommended that you delete Temporary Internet Files and History prior to logging into ATS. Deleting Temporary Internet Files and History (MS Article ID: ) The Temporary Internet Files (or cache) folder contains web page content that is stored on your hard disk for quick viewing. This cache permits Internet or MSN Explorer to download only the content that has changed since you last viewed a web page instead of downloading all the content for the page every time it is displayed. Administrators can customize Temporary Internet File settings to prevent modifications. Contact your System Administrator if you cannot access the Internet Options dialog box or the General tab. Using Internet Explorer Steps 1. With Internet Explorer open, click the Tools icon. 2. Select Internet Options. The Internet Properties dialog box displays. 3. On the General tab, locate Browsing history and click thedelete button. The Delete Browsing History dialog box displays. 4. Select Temporary Internet Files. 5. Select Delete. 6. When complete, click OK. Using Chrome If you are using Chrome to access ATS, complete the following steps to deleted Temporary Internet files and history, Steps 1. With Chrome open, click the Customize and Control Google Chrome drop-down list. 2. Choose History from the drop-down list. 3. Click Clear browsing data. 4. From the Clear browsing data pop-up, be sure to select the beginning of time, check Browsing history and Cached images and files. Click Clear browsing data to complete. 4 Using Firefox If you are using Firefox to access ATS, complete the following steps to delete Temporary Internet Files and History on the day of the release. Steps 1. With the Firefox browser open, click the drop-down menu, move your cursor over History and select Clear Recent History; or Click Tools from the toolbar and select Clear Recent History. 2. From the Time range to clear drop-down, select Everything. 3. Select only Browsing & Download History and Cache. 4. Click Clear Now. 5. When the items are cleared, close all Firefox browsers, then reopen Firefox. Note Be patient when performing this task, if the Temporary Internet Files folder contains a significant amount of web page content, then this process may take several minutes to complete. 5 Bookmarks and Shortcuts for ATS We want to take a minute to remind all ATS users that only should be used to access ATS. If you have any other bookmarks or shortcuts for ATS we ask that delete them from your bookmarks\shortcuts so that only the link above is used. If you need assistance in making sure you have the correct bookmark\shortcut for ATS please call Customer Care at , or at customercare@stewart.com. Note Logging into ATS via any other means besides will bypass the load balancer and could impact your ability to log into ATS, as well as the load for the ATS servers. Using only this link will ensure you are directed only to functioning servers as well as balance the number of users on each server. This will help to keep the server speeds functioning at optimal speeds. Advanced Title Search Release Notes February

6 Fixes The following items were corrected in Advanced Title Search : All Communities Corrected the ATS support address which was and changed it to ST CA Community Corrected an issue with legal descriptions that contained The land referred to herein... ATS will no longer include this in a legal description obtained via OCR. Created a solution for Legal descriptions that contained a Partial Tract to invalidate documents that do not match the owner's name. When the OCR process is performed on a document, ATS will now replace the existing grantor and grantee names with the new values found. When a Rescission of NOD document is attached to a Deed of Trust, ATS will no longer consider this as a release document. Corrected an issue with duplicate Plat documents being saved to the TSR Index. ST KC Community Corrected an issue with not being able to edit the Lender name on Deed of Trust documents. The Legal Search module was added to the Platte County MO recorder s data source. ST FL Community Corrected an issue with the apostrophe character in city names causing search issues. Corrected an issue where ATS would not allow images to be uploaded to an order. Corrected an issue with the Manatee County tax site not saving results. ST CO Community Corrected an issue with the Subdivision Lookup feature on the SKLD Parent Site. Corrected an issue with too many invalid documents saved to a search when a chain of title reference is missing the year. Advanced Title Search Release Notes February

7 Enhancements The following items were added to Advanced Title Search : All Communities ATS will now display the DS field as bold by default for each document. It will turn to gray after the image has been viewed. A new Transaction Type filter has been added to the ATS Dashboard. ST CA Community A new DataTrace Run-Sheet has been added to the TSR Index. It is saved as the RESULTSHEET document on the index. It can be accessed by clicking on the Description link on that document. Added new a new field for Deed of Trust documents called "Grantee Lender Nominee". This field will be used in instances where MERS is a party on the document. Changed a behavior in CA only where the DataTrace REMARKS field is now displayed on the TSRI in the Description field. ATS will now use code CADT21 when multiple assignment documents are attached to a Deed of Trust. When multiple documents are attached to a Deed of Trust document, ATS will now pull them into the CADT10 code in date order. The Prior Year Delinquent tax code, CATX43, will now display the dates in the correct format, and will also display the year(s) delinquent. The list of words to exclude from the Title Case rules has been expanded. The values for the Bonds and Assessments section of the tax sheet will now be captured and displayed in the CATX60A code.
