2 IMPORTANT! Please ensure that you conduct all training exercises in your DEMO database, and not in your Practice database. Log in to the DEMO database as follows: EXACT v10.16 Blue - Task for ALL (Receptionist, Practice Manager, Dentist, Hygienist, and Dental Assistant) Green - Task for Receptionist and Practice Manager Orange - Task for Surgery (Dentist, Hygienist, and Dental Assistant) Competencies Checklist Orientation to EXACT Log in and log out of the software. Log in to Practice & Exact Demo database Minimise EXACT to the Task Bar Identify the main software interface areas and state their general purpose. Demonstrate how to read a screen object s tooltip. Demonstrate how to use a dropdown menu, a +1 button and a List selector. Identify the areas of the interface through which a patient is sequentially managed at Arrival > Treatment > Departure > Recall ( The Patient Journey ). Customise the main screen Workspace bar by adding at least one icon, re-ordering icons, and removing at least one icon. Customise the Multi-Column Appointment Book work area by adding at least one tab, re-ordering tabs, and removing at least one tab. In the Help interface, use the Search utility to search for specific information and locate it in the appropriate Help topic. In the Help interface, locate the section that describes NEW features for your software version. In the Help interface, click a hyperlink in a way that opens the target topic in a new browser tab. In the Help interface, a hyperlink of the current page to yourself or to any other person. In the Help interface, send feedback on the current page directly to the appropriate SOE personnel. In the Help interface, print the current page. In the Help interface, hide the left navigation pane and show it again. In the Help interface, use the Index tab to locate and browse to specific information. In the Help interface, use the browser Find utility to locate a word within the current page.
