2 New Features Guide Overview Eaglesoft, a Patterson Technology o Welcome to Eaglesoft version The following guide will introduce and breakdown all the enhancements and features included in this new version. Integrated Imaging Integrated Imaging allows approved imaging applications to integrate functionality within Eaglesoft. Note: Integrated Imaging is currently available for US customers only. Setup & Configuration You need to activate the integrated application: Utilities Manage Integrated Applications From the Integrated Applications window, click the Imaging Application option. Enter the Application Name and Port Number (This information is obtained from your imaging vendor) Click OK Exit the Integrated Applications window Rev

3 Launching Integrated Imaging Practice Management Clinical Schedule Selecting Integrated Imaging will launch the imaging application and display images for the selected patient. You can then use that application to work with the images as needed. Integrated Imaging can be launched from several places in Eaglesoft. From the Practice Management toolbar, select the Integrated Imaging icon. From the Account Screen, select the Integrated Imaging icon from the Patient bar. From the Schedule toolbar, select the Integrated Imaging icon. From the Patient Appointment screen, select the Integrated Imaging icon. From the Clinical toolbar, select the Integrated Imaging icon. From the Treatment Plan screen, select the Integrated Imaging icon from the patient bar. From the Integrated Mode toolbar, select the Integrated Imaging icon. Note: The toolbar icon will be labelled as either Images or Integrated Images depending on where you are in the system. Tip: To ensure accessibility, add the Integrated Imaging option to your toolbars Rev

4 Integrated Images & Chart Images from your integrated imaging software will display within the image panel of a patient s chart. If you right click on an image in the image panel, you can choose to: Open in Application o This option will launch the imaging application and display images for the selected patient. You can then use that application to work with the images as needed. View Full Size o This option will open the selected image into a separate window for viewing purposes. Right-clicking on an image allows you to copy, save or zoom Rev

5 Image Display in Chart *Selected teeth If the image panel is enabled, you will see images for all selected teeth. Note: If no teeth are selected, all images for the patient will be displayed in the image panel. *No teeth selected Inactive Patients In the Account screen, inactive patients display in light gray Rev

6 Display Additional Future Appointments Smart Invoice 19.1 prior versions Last Preventive Appointment Prompt Walkout Statement printout will now show up to 12 future appointments for the family. Wording on Smart Invoice changed from Today s Charges to Charge(s) This change more accurately reflects that not all transactions selected to appear on a Smart Invoice are always from the current day. When deleting a completed service that is set to update the patient s recall date, the user is prompted to confirm the date for the Last Preventive appointment, or modify it. Click OK to save the confirmed or modified date Rev
