Recording Fees (Florida) NOTE: These instructions are to assist the user in creating the Indexing Fee along with the Recording Fee for any recorded documents for the State of Florida.

1 Recording Fees (Florida) NOTE: These instructions are to assist the user in creating the Indexing Fee along with the Recording Fee for any recorded documents for the State of Florida. Begin at the Recording Charges (1200) Screen. All the recording charges and indexing fees for any Deed, Mortgage and Releases will be entered into the grid under line To enter the Deed Recording Fee: Enter the number of pages for the Deed in the Pages column. Select the Document Type of Deed from the drop-down in the Document column. Select the FL-Deed Recording Fee from the drop-down in the Fee Schedule Column The recording fee for the deed will populate in the amount column. Recording Fees (Florida) Page 1 of 6 11/21/2016

2 To enter the Deed Indexing Fee: On the next line in the grid, enter the number of names to be indexed on the Deed in the Pages column. Select the Document Type of Deed from the drop-down in the Document column. Select the FL-Deed Indexing Fee from the drop-down in the Fee Schedule Column The indexing fee for the deed will populate in the amount column. To enter the Mortgage Recording Fee: On the next line in the grid, enter the number of pages for the Mortgage in the Pages column. Select the Document Type of Mortgage/Deed of Trust from the drop-down in the Document column. Select the FL-Mortgage/Deed of Trust Recording Fee from the drop-down in the Fee Schedule Column The recording fee for the mortgage will populate in the amount column. 3 To enter the Mortgage Indexing Fee: On the next line in the grid, enter the number of names to be indexed on the Mortgage in the Pages column. Select the Document Type of Mortgage/Deed of Trust from the drop-down in the Document column. Select the FL-Mtg Indexing Fee from the drop-down in the Fee Schedule Column The indexing fee for the mortgage will populate in the amount column. NOTE: In the above example there is no indexing fee shown for the Mortgage. The indexing fee will be applied to any document that has over 4 names being indexed. Keep in mind that if the Lender and MERS appear on the document, they are counted as two names to be indexed. To enter the Release Recording Fee: On the next line in the grid, enter the number of pages for the Release in the Pages column. Select the Document Type of Release from the drop-down in the Document column. Select the FL-Release Recording Fee from the drop-down in the Fee Schedule Column The recording fee for the release will populate in the amount column. Select the FL-Release Indexing Fee from the drop-down in the Fee Schedule Column The indexing fee for the release will populate in the amount column. To enter Other Recording Fees: Add a line to the 1200 section utilizing the plus button. In the grid under the new line enter the number of pages for the Other document in the Pages column. Select the Document Type of Other from the drop-down in the Document column. Select the FL-Other Recording Fee from the drop-down in the Fee Schedule Column The recording fee for the other document will populate in the amount column. 5 To enter the Other Indexing Fee: On the next line in the grid, enter the number of names to be indexed on the other document in the Pages column. Select the Document Type of Other from the drop-down in the Document column. Select the FL-Other Indexing Fee from the drop-down in the Fee Schedule Column The indexing fee for the other document will populate in the amount column. To enter the County Intangible Tax: Select line 1204 from the recording section. On the grid under line 1204 Select the Document Type of Mortgage/Deed of trust from the drop-down in the Document column. Select the FL-County/Intangible Tax from the drop-down in the Fee Schedule Column The tax will populate in the amount column. Recording Fees (Florida) Page 5 of 6 11/21/2016

6 To enter the Mortgage and Deed Transfer Tax: Select line 1205 from the recording section. On the grid under line 1205 Select the Document Type of Mortgage/Deed of Trust from the drop-down in the Document column. Select the FL-Mortgage Transfer Tax from the drop-down in the Fee Schedule Column The tax will populate in the amount column. If this fee is seller paid, enter 100 in the Seller Pay% column Select the Document Type of Deed from the drop-down in the Document column. Select the FL-State Deed Transfer Tax from the drop-down in the Fee Schedule Column The tax will populate in the amount column.
