2 IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT IE 7.XX AND HIGHER TView uses Internet Explorer to display its views, as well on the Server side as for the Clients. As of Internet Explorer 7.xx, it is now mandatory to declare the Trusted Sites (non Internet sites) you want to access. If not, you will not be able to display the Views (Alarms, Chart, WebForms, ) The configuration is accessed from the main menu: Tools Internet Options tab Security. Select the zone Trusted Sites On the TView Server PC, you have to add localhost (default local website) On the Client PC, you have to add either the name of the TView PC or its IP address. 3 1. Known issues 1.1. Login Proxy not supported This issue is encountered when there is a Proxy between the Client and TView Web Server. The Login Proxy is required if a Client attempts to connect to TView Web Server via a Proxy Server. The TView Client does not support this kind of login. The Proxy Server has to be configured to be transparent to communication between Client and TView Web Server With French version, impossible to create an export destination Avec la version française, lorsqu on crée une destination d export, TView indique que ce n est pas possible. Cela est dû à un problème Windows. Nous n avons pas encore trouvé de solution pour y remédier. En attendant, il faut créer la destination d export en langue anglaise, puis repasser en langue française. La sélection de la langue est accessible à partir du menu Outils langues. C est le même problème lorsqu on veut synchroniser la base de données ( Destination d export Outils ). Il faut alors également changer la langue de TView pour l anglais Working with LP100, LP200, LP300 (legacy) applications If you have developed with TWinSoft 8.30 or smaller, applications for -LP100, -LP200, -LP300 (OS 2.xx), TView will not be able to create the Tags properly, neither by dialing the RTU or importing the TWinSoft document. The solution is to save the application with TWinSoft 8.31 or higher. The TWinSoft document can then be imported in TView. You don t need to send the application to the RTU. If you want also the source file to be updated in the RTU, that it can be used to configure a TView workstation by dialing the RTU, you need to send the application back TView vs. TWinSoft Minimum TWinSoft version: 8.31 As of version 2.50 of TView, the TWinSoft document you import to create a station must be of TWinSoft version 8.31 or higher. From TWinSoft If the documents have been developed with lower version of TWinSoft, open them with TWinSoft 8.31 (or higher), change anything in the program (add / remove a Tag for instance) and then save. From TView From TView, re-import the document from the menu File Import TWinSoft document. The Tags are then updated with their address and then available to be used in WebForm. 4 Minimum TView version: If TWinSoft or higher has been used to configure a TBox, TView needs to be upgraded to when station synchronization is required and downloading of TBox sources Upgrade from TView 1.00, 2.00, to TView 3.02 Version 3.02 is compatible with older versions, down to version There is nothing to modify in the project. 1. To achieve update: change anything in the configuration of the project, for instance, go to the Control panel, open the TMA Files collection menu and click OK. 2. If TView synchronizes with TBox applications (sources in TBox), make sure it has been developed with version 8.31 minimum (see 2.3 & 2.4 here above) When opening a project with version 3.02, it cannot be opened anymore with an older version of TView 1.6. Refresh of View WebForm does not work Displaying Views, you have a refresh button available in the tool bar (identical to IE). It is not active with WebForms. To refresh the View, you have to quit the view and come back. It concerns only objects on the WebForm; when online with a RTU, values are refreshed automatically! 1.7. Time zone under Windows XP-SP3 Some timestamp problems may be encountered, according to the use of the option daylight saving, during winter period. The problem appears with a timestamp of datalogging with 1 hour ahead. This has been recently discovered with Atlantic GMT -4. Problem is related to Windows XP SP3 only. No problem with SP2 and with VISTA. Let s hope a SP4 will fix the problem Zoom in chart crash TView Doing zoom in/out in chart may crash TView. There is nothing that can be done at the moment. The chart is a.ocx which is not maintained and that does not belong to us. TView Release notes 4

Supports of MS-CPU32-S2 and -LT2 TView does recognize Stations MS-CPU32-S2 and LT Scan FTP: Mode Selection Collecting TMA files through FTP connection, it is now possible to define the connection mode: passive or active New features in INI file TMA files not taken into account when empty or corrupted Related to ticket # 3970 Collecting TMA doing a ScanFolder, a new parameter in <project>.ini file allows suppressing.tma files which are either corrupted or empty, and their associated.txt file. 6 Fixes & Enhancements of TView TMA (ref. B-5212): Multiple Threads Issue when doing TMA collection in multiple threads using TMA.dll. TMA (ref. B-5165): Memory Leak Memory leak in the use of TMA.dll. TView (ref. B-4998): Export ADO version testing does not work correctly (seen under Windows 10). TView (ref. B-4739): TWinSoftDocParser As of TWinSoft 11.03, TWinSoft document are encrypted. It means downloading TBox sources or opening a TWinSoft document must be adapted in TView. TView (ref. B-4518): Export Export fails if an alarm has start time 1/1/ :00 (->UTC=0). TView (ref. B-4040): Web Server TView web pages not compatible with IE11. File navigation.js0 needs to be updated. TView (ref. B-3832 / B-3831 / B3802): Pop-Up + Export Doing an acknowledgment on a pop-up alarm provokes a crash of TView. Problem due to corrupted export file (.tvfl). TView (ref. B-3804): Export logs In Event Viewer, more details about export Online, Offline, On demand, when it is started and ended. TView (ref. B-3803): Export Tool Export Error, typo in button Prevoius Error. TView (ref. B-3730): Modem Tcomm.dll Intermittent communication error with some modems. Corrected with TComm TView (ref. B-3617): Modem Incoming call configuration not handled properly in modem set. B-2915): Export of Alarms When doing export of alarms, the selection of stations does not work; alarms for ALL stations are exported. TView (ref. B-2848): FTP TView does not respect the case when accessing a directory. This is mandatory working with FTP under LINUX. TView (ref. B-2834): Chronologies In Chronologies properties window, remove digital from the title of the window. It can show analog AND digital chronologies. TView (ref. B-2788): Export Working with several export destinations of different types (Offline, Online), they do not work as expected. TView (ref. B-2718): Chart Option Use Default Station is not memorized by the HMI. Fixes & Enhancements of TView TView (ref. B-6133): Support of TBox Nano TView is supporting the new RTU TBoxNano.
