3 1. You Must Understand: The tested systems can be upgraded from Microsoft Windows 8 operation system to Microsoft Windows 8.1 operation system. If our test result states that the Product is upgradeable to Windows 8.1 Software, it merely means that you may install Windows 8.1 Software on the Product. Nothing contained herein should be deemed as our warranty towards the compatibility of Windows 8.1 Software with the drivers, applications, programs, and/or other functions of our Products. We hereby declare that installing Windows 8.1 Software on the Product may cause instability of the Product system, partial or total loss of data, drivers and/ or applications. The test result is not intended for you to determine whether to purchase our Product and/or Windows 8.1 Software. However, if you, at your own discretion, decide to install Windows 8.1 on the Product eventually, we highly recommend backing up all your data before installing Windows 8.1 Software. 4 2. Windows 8 System Requirements: Windows 8 works great on the same hardware that powers Windows 7. Processor 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster RAM 1 gigabyte (GB)(32-bit) or 2 GB (64-bit) Hard disk space 16 GB (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit) Graphics card Microsoft DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM driver 3. Additional requirements to use certain features: To use touch, you need a tablet or a monitor that supports multi-touch. To access the Windows Store and to download and run apps, you need an active Internet connection and a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768. To snap apps, you need a screen resolution of at least 1366 x 768.

5 4. Windows 8.1 Upgrade Installation Process 1. Before Windows 8 installation, you will need to either disable or uninstall any Anti-Virus or security program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade to Windows When Windows 8 installation wizard finished checking your computer for any updates. Please enter your Windows 8 product key number, and click/tap on Next NOTE: Windows 8 product key number is a set of 25 digit codes which looks similar to: xxxxx-xxxxxxxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

6 3. Check the I agree to the license agreement box, and click/tap on Accept.

7 4. Select (dot) which type of installation you want

8 5. Windows 8 will enquire your installation hard drive/space, Please select your preferred and available disk space. NOTE: Hard disk space requirement 16 GB (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit).

9 6. Windows 8 will check for compatibility issues to see if you need to execute anything to ensure your PC ready for Windows 8 installation. Windows will direct you with suggestions then begin installing Windows 8.

10 7. Windows 8 will start to install now. The computer will restart several times during this process. NOTE: This will take a while to finish.

11 8. When it's finished, select a color you like and name your PC, then click/tap Next.

12 9. Select either Use express settings or Customize button depending on how you want to set these settings.

13 10. Windows 8 will prepare your PC now. Congratulations! You have finished upgrading your Windows 7, Vista, or XP to Windows 8.
