1 USER S GUIDE TO CHHATTISGARH ICDS (Anganwadi Center Level-F2) Developed for: Chhattisgarh ICDS Developed by: Riddhi Management Services Pvt. Ltd. Kolkata
2 Chhattisgarh ICDS Double click on the following icon. Figure.1 The following screen appears. (Figure 2) Figure 2 Select the District name and Project Name respectively by Clicking on the Combo Boxes. Then Click on Set. The following screen appears. (Figure 3) 2

4 1. Data Entry This module allows entering AWC Level Data. Click on Data Entry button and the following screen appears as shown in Figure Figure Select Month and Year and then click on Proceed. The following screen appears. (Figure.3.1.1) Figure Select Sector Name and AWC Name and click on Proceed. The following screen appears. (Figure-3.12) 4
5 Figure Data entry has to be done here. After entering of Data Save the file by clicking on Save button. You can open the pages Page 1, Page2 till Page16. Each page refers to corresponding of MPR respectively. 2. Data Analysis This section allows the user to create Indicators (AWC wise and Sector wise as well), Sector MPR and Annual Abstract. The following screen (Figure.3.2.0) appears on entering the Data Analysis section where the user has to select the Month and Year in order to analyze and get Suitable report. 5
6 Figure After selecting the Month and Year, click on Proceed. The following Screen appears (Figure-3.2.1) Figure
7 Clicking on Indicator button the following screen appears (Figure ). Figure Click on any of the Levels at which you want to generate report of Indicators. For Example clicking on AWC level Button, the following screen appears. (Figure-3.2.3) Figure

9 One can save the Indicators file by clicking on save option of File Menu (See Figure 3.2.4) Figure Select Destination from save in box, type a name in File Name box and click on save. Sector MPR generates Sector wise MPR for a specific Month. Clicking on Sector MPR Button the following screen appears. (Figure-3.2.5) Figure
10 Select Month and click on Proceed. The following Confirmation Box will appear after finishing the job. Click on OK An Excel file will open consisting of different sheets. The number of sheets will depend depending upon the number of sectors. You can save the Excel file in the same manner described earlier. 10
11 Annual Abstract generates month wise Annual Figures of all the sectors in an Excel file. Clicking on Annual Abstract the operation will start and after completion of the operation the following Confirmation Box will appear. Click on OK. An Excel file will then appear containing different sheets displaying annual figures of the respective sectors. You can Save the Annual Abstract by following the Saving Procedure as described earlier. 11
12 3. ICDS GIS This Module shows an interactive map of a Project of Chhattisgarh.To enter the Map section click on ICDS GIS from the main screen. The following screen appears. (Figure. 3.3) Map of your Project (Figure 3.3) shows AWCs. Figure. 3.3 This is an interactive GIS map. The system provides certain unique facilities like: - Easy Tool Tip Text Fast location search facility Location-wise Information Simple Query builder Range Query builder Complex Query builder Easy Zooming and Panning facilities. Quick Statistical Analysis Time Series Analysis On the top left hand corner of the window you will find a list of the following menus on the menu bar: 12

By clicking on the Layer Menu you can find different layers such as ifj; tuk xzke iapk;r x km taxy iddk jklrk jkt; lm+d vkaxuokm+h Cyd vfql i;zos{kd vfql xzke iapk;r vfql ifj; tuk vfql LokLF; dsunz fc/kkulhkk lhek jsyo Figure and many more By default AWC, GP etc are displayed on opening screen. On clicking the box beside the layer and clicking on Án kzu (OK) button, the selected layer can be viewed on the map. (Figure ) Search: To search any location on the map, click on Search button in the Menu bar. By using this function you can easily identify the location of an object. To search for any location on the map you have to select the name of the Group (leqg leqg) and the location from the Combo boxes (move your mouse to the scroll icon beside the box to find the names) and then click on SEARCH ([k t) button. (Figure 3.3.3) [k t 13
14 Figure OR On typing the first few characters in the text box the full name will appear on the Combo box. By clicking on SEARCH button you can easily see the location on the map as shown in Figure Figure You can find the location name by hovering the mouse over the map. The 'Search' result is highlighted in the map as shown in Figure Figure
15 Query Section: This section gives you a list of available information divided into the different sections: Queries based on available data can be made and the results are displayed in the map Click on the Query+ (Á u) button from the top and a Query panel appears as shown in Figure Á u One can run queries in the following way. Select the Layer ¼Lrj½ on which you want to run the Query. Select the Data ¼vkWdM+s½ for running the Query. Select the Group ¼leqg½ on which you want the Query to be done. Select the Month ¼ekg½ Select the Category ¼oxZ½ under Groups. Select the Indicator ¼lqpd½ under the Category. Select operator e.g. =, >, < etc. from the operator combo. Either chose value from the button or enter the value in the text box Figure Click on the OK ¼lEiUu½ button below the text box. The following screen appears. (Figure ) 15
16 Figure One can generate the result of the Query in an Excel file or in a Word file from the following window. Click on Word report ¼oMZ fji VZ½ or Excel Report ¼,dlsy fji VZ½ to generate the report. Range Query: To execute a Range Query, there are two options: Continuous (vfofpnuu vfofpnuu) Discrete (i`fkd i`fkd) i`fkd Continuous (vfofpnuu vfofpnuu) Range Query: Steps: 1. Select leqg 2. Select oxz 3. Select lqpd lqpd By default, the data range is divided into three divisions, the divisions being continuous ¼vfofPNUu½ This data division is reflected in the map by clicking on the js[kkpnknsu button. Discrete (i`fkd i`fkd) Range Query: Steps: 1. Select leqg 2. Select oxz 3. Select lqpd js[kkpnknsu lqpd For dividing the data according to your choice first click jax djuk button The following box (Figure 3.3.8) appears. 16
17 Click on the i`fkd i`fkd radio button. Specify the division ¼Hkkx½ Click on ; x button for every range. The range is displayed in the box below. For edit the range, first select the range and then clicking on cnyuk button to edit the range. The color scheme can be changed by clicking on the jax jax pquuk Figure After giving all the inputs click on leiuu button Now click on js[kkpnknsu leiuu The query result is reflected in the Map (Figure 3.3.9). Figure If you click on any location of the map, an information box appears, containing the Information selected from the category combo box. (Figure ) 17
18 Figure When the mouse-pointer is placed over the data, a graphical presentation of the data is generated in the information box. The red spot indicates the location, which has been clicked. The position of that Object within the location is also shown along with the highest and lowest value of the indicator. The name of the location, which has the highest value for that particular indicator, is displayed at the top of the graph. One can generate the information in an Excel file by clicking on the Export to Excel Button (Figure ) Figure
19 Complex Query: This section helps you to create queries using multiple indicators. On clicking the complex Query button (tfvy Á u) a window appears as shown in Figure Figure Choose the data ¼vkWdM+s½, Level ¼Lrj½, Group ¼leqg½, Category ¼oxZ½ Indicator ¼lqpd½ and the Operator to create the first condition. One can browse the values of that indicator by clicking the Browse ¼fopjuk½ button. After entering the value click on ADD ¼; x½ button. Choose And ¼,o½or OR ¼vFkok½ Operator and give the second condition. Give the next conditions in the same way. (Figure ). To delete a condition, select the condition and click on DELETE button ¼feVkuk½. One can view additional 3 fields other than the selected conditions by using the ¼feVkuk½ display box beside the category izn'kzzu ds fy, {ks= pquuk¼vf/kdre 3½ Figure
20 After giving the inputs according to the specifications click on ok ¼lEiUu½. The result can be seen in the map (Figure ) Figure you can generate the result of the Query in an Excel file or in a Word file from the following window as stated earlier in case of simple Query. DUAL MAP: This section allows the user to view the data in dual maps. This enables one to compare the indicators for different time period. Click on the Dual Map ¼nksgjk ekufp=½ button. The following screen appears (Figure ). 20
21 Figure On Querying these maps and applying different conditions over both the maps, the following screen appears (Figure ) Figure
22 Add/Delete AWC: Using this feature one can add and also can delete the added AWC from the map. Clicking on Add/delete AWC Button ¼vkxAuokM+h leiknu½ the following window appears. ¼vkxAuokM+h leik nu½ For Adding: To add an AWC click on Add button ¼; x½, the following window appears prompting to click inside the map. Click ok ¼lEiUu½ and then click inside the Map, the following window appears. ¼lEiUu½ Enter the AWC Code, AWC Name and select the sector name from the combo box. If it is a Mini AWC then check on the Mini AWC Box below the sector name combo box. Then Click on OK button ¼lEiUu½ A Confirmation window will then appear confirming the addition. (Figure ) 22
23 For Deletion: To Delete a previously Added AWC click on Delete Button ¼feVkuk½ in the following Window ¼feVkuk½ Then Click on the AWC which you want to Delete, the following window appears. ¼lEiUu½ Click on OK ¼lEiUu½, a confirmation window will appear confirming the deletion. Other Features: Tool Tip Text Zooming and panning facilities. Tool Tip Text: Hovering the mouse pointer over the Map highlights each object and displays Information about the object to which the mouse is pointing to. (Figure ) 23
24 Figure Zooming and Panning facilities: This facility allows you to resize and move the map so that every part of the map can be Viewed with desired accuracy. The Zooming and Panning buttons are present on the top menu panel (See Figure ) Figure Zoom In: Click on the Zoom In button. Click and drag the portion which you want to magnify Zoom Out : Click on the Zoom Out button. With each Click the map is reduced in size 24
25 Pan : Click and drag the mouse Pointer to the direction where you want to shift the map. Zoom Extent : Click the button to bring the map to the default size and position Normal: Click on the button to bring the mouse Pointer to the Normal Mode Zoom Previous Click on Zoom Previous button to bring the map to its Immediate previous position 4. Export The Export tool helps to take back-up of month-wise data for a Project. Clicking on Export button the following screen appears. 26 Figure Select the folder where you want to save the back-up. And then click on OK. The following message appears.(figure ) Click on OK. The Back-Up file will be Created. 5. AWC Details Updation Figure Using this tool you can modify the Static Data of an AWC and can enter new AWC s Static Data. Clicking on AWC Details Updation the following window appears (Figure-5.1) 26
